Well my last grow (FB Wedding Cheesecake Auto) completely failed so it's back to RQS this time. I've tried the photoperiod Royal Gorilla before and it was incredible. Let's hope the auto is just as good.
I went away during germination so the stem ended up being huge! After a week of settling in to the Oxypot, it got a bit floppy so had to use a toilet roll to support it.
Winter temperatures have arrived so fingers crossed the tent can handle the cold 😬

Really pleased with the Gorilla this week. The roots have tripled in size and she can support her own weight again!
She's looking really healthy, I'm not surprised as Royal Queen Seeds always have great genetics. This plant is no exception, she's going to be lovely 😍
This week I trimmed some absolutely massive leaves and did some LST using plant bends.
The Gorilla is such a dense bush now, hopefully the training will force her to spread out and make some nice big colas 😎

Second week of flower, she's starting to grow extremely fast and is taking LST like a champ. Every time I look at her she has new, rapid growth.
Small white hairs are showing now, she's definitely in the pre-flower stage and is going to be big!! Thanks to Shogun nutrients, they're always incredible.
She's looking great, smelling a lot. Had to trim a lot of foliage off and bend some more stems. Hopefully she will continue taking it in her stride.

Another week of excellent growth. Smell is getting stronger and there are finally some trichomes forming 😎
Had to add the dehumidifier this week as it was 65% in the tent!
Another week flown by. She's doing well and still growing rapidly. The smell is ridiculous and fills the house as soon as I open the tent!
Hopefully we'll see some nice chunky buds next time 👍
Another week of stunning growth. No matter how many leaves get cut off, more take their place!
Trichome production has started too. This is my favourite part of growing 😎
This plant is such a beast, the growth is so dense. I'm slightly worried about mould because everything is so tightly packed. My dehumidifier is also not working properly so it has spent most of the last week at 69% humidity 😭 Fingers crossed it is fixed.
Getting towards the end now. All the trichomes on the main cola are milky white. The rest of the flowers are a little underdeveloped in comparison but should catch up nicely with the Dragon Force I added to finish her 👹
Almost there, loads of trichomes and fattening up happening here. One more week of Dragon Force, followed by flush and she'll be ready 😎
The smell is strong from a distance, when you touch the bud there's a strong citrus smell 😁

She's on just water now, flushing ready for harvest. Very impressed with the quality of buds, super dense and sparkling 😎
I finally chopped her down. She's now hanging to dry, will update with weights ASAP.
Royal Gorilla Automatic was exceptionally easy to grow. If anything she was a little too bushy - I should have done more pruning to keep her under control.
Colours on display here are spectacular, deep purple and reds throughout almost all the buds 😎

As usual, Royal Queen Seeds have delivered incredible genetics in Royal Gorilla Automatic. Although she was compact, she gave plenty of dense, frosty buds.
The buds are completely covered in trichomes, more than any strain I've grown in the past.
The red/purple colouration all over the plant look great and make the bud look really special. Photos do not do this justice!
I will definitely be growing this strain again, perhaps even 2 at a time.
Growing Royal Gorilla Auto was easy and stress free. Thanks for all the supprot from the GD & Insta communities! Looking forward to some 4/20 action today. Enjoy everyone!
