Planted seed directly into medium, should have pre damped the medium a bit as the water wanted to run around floating dirt, made it hard to water even just a shotglass worth. I got a squirt bottle for the next watering's making it easier to isolate where I'm watering. I was running 70+% RH so I only needed to wet the soil once a day.

Grow medium is fox farm ocean forrest soil 1.5 cu. ft. mixed with 20% worm castings, 1/2 cup 2-9-4 flower girl, 1 cup 4-4-4 all purpose. Watered with aerated tap water for 24h to de-chlorinate then ph'd to 6.5. It was hard trying not to overwater them, tried to only water 1/3rd larger of leaves straight down. I planted the seeds about a 1/4 inch deep and when watering the seedling would float and lay down, kept propping them up and trying to water more gentle. Had one dud seed so I planted the last seed in the pack, and it sprouted day 5. So the other 3 plants 4 days older than their sisters.

Got a new led, the Bestva bat 400watt to max out my 3x3 grow tent, had to remove the rubber bumps on the ends so the thing would fit. The king led 1500w updated was pulling less that 200w out of the wall on veg+bloom. I'm repurposing it to a closet veg light. I had the new led set to 200w it was day 9. Girls were laying down trying to duck the light and there was one white spot, lowered to 30% 120W. and raised it a bit in height for a few days before going back to 24in. The new led app was set wrong and the light ended up being on for 24h as you notice no change in night temps those days. I am calculating vpd with my ac infinity app, leaf offset is set to -2 but I have not been able to reliably read leaf temps so far. Trying to keep it at 0.6-0.8 kPa and by the end of the week closer to .8-1.0 going into mid-veg. (I think) Plan is to make a compost tea for beginning of week 3 to really kick it in the ass for the rest of veg.

Am now being greeted with a sweet plant smell when opening the tent. I tried increasing light intensity but it was too soon for the little one that's 4 days behind and started showing light green spots after a few hours. Was also dealing with rising heat from brighter light. Noticed hardening of the lower stems during the first few days of week 3. Brewed a veg compost tea and gave 1/2gallon to each plant. Started LST on day 18, but then removed them because I was worried about the stems. They were so loose in the soil and were at like 50 deg angles. By day 20 they were showing very quick growth so I applied LST again. The largest one is stretching nicely, the other two are staying plump so I got one in a ponytail to give the lower growth more light.

One of the ladies is growing great and responding well to LST. The other 2 are more compact and stubby. Raised the light a good 6-8 inches on day 23 as I haven't been adjusting according to plant growth. Had to do some defoliation near end of week 4 as some of the girls are really compact and getting bushy. Started seeing pistols coming out on day 26/27. I think I've been over watering and am trying to cut back. Instead of half a gallon each every other day, I'm going to try and do .15-.25 gallons per day. I changed from 24h once I noticed the pistils, no they're back to 20-4. As they get closer to the light their DLI will rise and I may adjust for more dark period later in flower.

Top dressed, defoliated and put in a trellis net on day 30. One of the ladies is way larger than the rest so I put in a trellis net instead of continuing LST ties downs on the others. I figure this will allow more vertical growth for the others. Top dressed on day 30 and will top dress every 2 weeks from now on. Brewing a flower tea on day 30 as well. Day 32 I removed the trellis net as it wasn't doing what I would like it to, which is containing the larger plant. It was however limiting my LST on the others as I removed all the tie downs to put the trellis net on. Also to make it easier to water without all those ties. So I am back to LST on the 3 smaller ones to try and spread out the growth since they don't want to on their own. I gave them a compost tea on night 31 from the picture above. This tea had a more distinct smell than the "veg" one. It wasn't rotten smelling or anything just kinda earthy poops smells. With the tent closed its fine and just a bit lingering in the morning. I want to increase my light intensity, currently at 50-55%. But using a lux meter and approximating the PPFD my DLI is around 45. In week 3 I briefly raised the intensity to 65% and it stacked nodes on some plants but they didn't stretch at all, so I lowered back to 50% until now. So I am going to 18-6 now so I can increase my PPFD without throwing DLI out a whack. Broke the top off my little one by accident she isn't as far into flower as the rest so hopefully it wont be too hard on her. Then I did the same thing to another plant. This time it wasn't so bad only 40% broke. I quickly bent it the other way and taped it up and 8 hours later it looks fine. I may have stunted a few plants with defoliation or something or overwatered because only one plant is really stretching. The other 2 are stacking nodes but not stretching as much. Maybe they're just a bit slow developing.

Week 6 is WIK, I am having to water the large plant sometimes twice a day now. The medium has a nice sponge like feel to it. Watering 25-30 ounces at a time per plant, no run off. Defoliated more sparingly, front 2 girls still have a bit to stretch. The 40% break on the one has healed nicely. The little lady is 4 days behind the rest but doesn't show the same signs of flowering as the rest did from. I may have stunted the growth by accidently topping it, but it does still seem to be growing. Gave another flowering compost tea on day 41. Defoliated my little one a bit heavier than the rest to see what happens.

Starting week 7 2nd week of flowering, the beast in the back of my tent is pretty much all stretched out, as is the front left one, the other is lagging a bit behind and the one in my closet is just now showing signs of stretch. I have increased the light to 90% which is about 400watts. Re-arranged the fans inside the tent to get airflow above the light as well as under the canopy. The stretch continues through mid week 7. Lowered the light back down to 75%. The highest spots were hitting around 1000ppf, may increase later in flower to push them hard. There is purple streaking down the stems of the largest plant.

week 8. Gave flowering tea on day 50 1/2 gallon each. Refer to recipe from week 5. Pulled all of the ladies out mid way through the week for a round of defoliation. The canopies are much clearer now for air flow and light penetration. Temperature is easier to handle as well.

Week 9 is going smooth. Top dressed and brewed another tea. Each plant is still distinctly different from one another. A lot of great colors coming in on the leaves and pistols. I also elevated the front right girl and noticed an increase in frost over night. The separated plant underneath a 150w blue/red led is showing great growth but barely any trichomes. My main tent is starting to smell very strong by the end of week 9. lemon and pine. Since I don't adjust for pH I included the last two pictures showing how the soil balances itself out.

The largest plant is starting to show more deficiencies and it is killing off lower smaller leaves. I haven't been keeping up with top feedings for her. All 4 plants are expressing themselves uniquely. The plant that was moved out of the tent to gain room has developed a lot of purple in the higher leaves but not so much trichomes. I upgraded the light it was under from a 150w blue/red light to the 260w HLG DIY. I'm hoping for way better results out of this light as the bud growth under the other was lacking.

I have been behind on my top dressing or it hasn't been effective they are starting to show plenty of deficiencies. They seem to still be growing well. I top dressed them all at the end of week 10, I am brewing a final tea for mid week 11. Pulled a dozen or so dying leaves off the larger plant in the tent. I added kashi to the top of my top dresses this time. I had to back off watering 2x a day and by the 3rd day the kashi had fungal growth. The little one is finally fattening up buds and showing terpenes. Leaves continuing to die on the larger lady. The others are starting to fade but only one leaf on the front right plant decided to fade.

Nearing the end now. The front right plant started foxtailing so I lowered her down a bit. I had her propped up way higher than the rest as she didn't get as tall. I am just going to give straight water until they are finished. There is still new growth on the buds.
