This is the 19th day since day 5 of sprouting from seed straight to soil FFOF. Pot 1 is on left. Pot 2 on right. Pot 1 Is my experiment plant. I topped it today even though there is a debate about that. I also LST #1 to one side and snipped one fan leaf to expose plant nods. #2 which is the bigger plant by a few inches, I just LST it to on side. No snipping. #3 which is out side tent under mini led is my 2nd experiment plant is healthy but very small. Will give up date next Friday.

My question is, Has anyone did this to an Auto on week 3. This is my experiment plant. Being rough with it quickly. Plant on right being more gentle. Only LST for right plant calling it AK pot # 2. Plants do not seem to be in shock 12 hours later. Pretty healthy looking still.

Hey, topping an auto is common but it is a bit of a hot topic to some who grow a lot of autos. I have topped my autos and only noticed an increase anytime I do it vs not doing anything. The first time I did it was an accident and about 4 nodes came off, I thought the plant would have went into shock and just quit, but it came though. I do like to do this on healthy plants only and will combine it with some LST like you are doing in your other pics. The main thing with autos is not to transplant them and start them in their forever home/pot. They get real aggravated with this and tend to enter early flower. but you got that part down pat. A few notes on feeding autos: They do not like strong feeds and this can set them back or cause shock. Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil base is also HOT, or to many nutrients in it already. Its good you mixed it with some other stuff If you are watering till runoff monitor your EC and PH to confirm when you do feed them its not to much. Use this weblink for a baseline of how many PPM/EC you should aim for. https://www.autoflower.net/forums/threads/med-man-method-feeding-chart-ppm-ec.47856/ FYI we can not see when you reply in this question, we do not get notifications. Best to use the DM feature, your inbox is the little green arrow on the bottom right side of the screen. Best Of Luck and Happy Growing!

We are now into the end of 3rd week going into 4th week from when they all 3 sprouted at same time. Avg temp in tent from day 1 is 77-79*f. Avg HR 50%. Night 68-70. RH 60%. Water heavy twice in past few days. Wet to dry. Every 4 days. PH 5.9 to 6.0 Nutes= 480 ppm with flora grow and cal mag plus epsom salt. Light 24" from plant. Training yeah plant once to twice a day and tucking leaves. HST by clipping a leaf or two, to expose light for future colas. Very low HST. Clean tent every few days and multiple yellow sticky traps in tent. Air flow is low speed with 3 fans plus exhaust system. Herbs and spices plus fragrance to keep away bugs. Only concern despite there bushy crazy growth is a small yellow spot in middle of leaf. Just one leaf. 3rd plant AK is outside of tent under mini dome. Just letting it grow doing nothing to it expect basic care. Experiment plant.

Going into 6th week. All going good so far. Was able to clear up the yellow tip crap by adding nutrients and watered more looking much more healthy. They almost died few days ago, long story.
