1/9/2022: Started the seeds in a glass of water and moved them to paper towels once they sank. 1/11/2022: planted tap roots down about 1/4 inch deep, sprayed and put a Tupperware dome on it. 1/15/2022: gave regular tap water around the rim of the pot so the roots have to spread out for the good stuff
Used regular water for a week since putting the germinated seeds in soil and kind of wish I fed it calmag a little sooner. I've got them on nutrients now and domes are still on to boost humidity. Domes will come off next week and fans will be turned on once the stalks get a little thicker.
Ending the 5th week with some promising nodes coming out to play. Sticking with LST and feeling like I missed my window to top. I'm nervous to send them into flower because it's winter and my grow setup is in the basement. I've got a reptile heat lamp that keeps the tent at 60-65, but I don't want to chance it. Excited to see these stretch out.
Pics taken midway week 7. Decided not to top. Doing LST and leaf tucking every couple of days. Watering maybe once a week or less. These bigger pots hold a lot more water. I'll likely be watering much more frequently when they get bigger/ flower
Very nice this got frosty as hell for me but the buds have been taking their time getting fat. Interested to see if mine checks out like the double grape or blows up like the 3 bears, those two share half their genetics with sour stomper. I have a feeling this forum stompers going to be a top notch smoke though. Good luck the rest of the way friend. Love your profile pic too, that’s a sick pic of the trichs.
