Great plant!
If it is root rot, maybe increase salinity by adding some salts (mgK+Ca) within a reduced nutrient tonic.
The salts help dry up the soil some to slow the rot, K helps to better manage water throughout the plant with help of cal, or more oxygenation...?Unless the sun is not co operating with your soil mix. Sometimes defs in mn can cause similar problems...
The main stem looked great, it had enough iron, that is absorbed best at a pH of 6-6.5 but usually not over 7 alower pH is usually cleaner i dont think pH is whats causing it, although the grasshopper spots could be a Cal def that is from a lower pH and sometimes defs in P cause similar symptoms which may be best to add those once it blooms ?
-"The only reason it is rotting is because of H20"
