Just plain pH adjusted water into FFHF soil, feeling pretty stoked about these ladies!!! I'm trying to do a "hands off" grow with no touching. I just want to see how they develop on their own before I meddle in future grows.
I'm curious when I should be adding their first dose of food. I'm using my leftover GH Trio, FF Silica line, and some cal mag.
Things are looking good. They're really small, but I get what I gets. I'm Excited to try some Earth Juice Sugar Peak flowering formula on these ladies. They're overdue food.
So far so good. My earth juice finally came! I think the curling of the leaves on my WhW occurred b/c i used my old g.h. trio and f.f. silica trio to feed them one time. Once the food came on 1/22 I've only given that. So far after a week of this Sugar Peak flowering formula they seem to be liking the food. Pre-flowers are getting thicker, leaves are reaching up, and trichomes are forming around the buds. Even though they are still very small little plants, I am happy with them.
Day 49 today I believe.
I think the stretch on the WhW Auto is over, now hopefully she starts stacking. She got quite a bit taller than the others. Not too stoked I had move the light away from the shorty's. The other two are starting to chunk up with nice resin production, and they smell amazing!!
So far I am just sticking with the Sugar Peak Flowering Formula. I'm noticing some brown spots appearing on my lower fan leaves and they seem to be fading to yellow and getting crispy. I've heard people use Cal-mag for this. I don't know at this point if the health of those lower fan leaves is too critical or not. I'm hoping it's just damage done from a bad feed and that it doesn't progress or slow the flowers. The new growth seems healthy. Any ideas on this are welcome.
Experiencing a little Nutrient burn. Switching to having a round of pH water between every feed.
The water flush seems to have killed a decent amount of the stigmas throughout the WhW and CC autos. The CC auto may be from natural maturation but the WhW auto is too underdeveloped for the stigma to turn I believe.
I think I'm gonna do my next run with only a single strain to create consistency. As well I think I'll go for 3g buckets.
Tough week for the WhW Auto. I think I've really overfed her and its catching up with me. This one drinks faster so got fed more this week in the every other water feed cycle. Since curly burnt leaves, I've been running just pH 6.5 water through it until i got the runoff to drop down in ppm. I have the worst luck with these ILGM seeds. They're not as tough as the others to take my abuse. Haha. I think it might be a good idea to get a calendar and keep track. Hopefully I can get her back on track. I'm really leaning strong towards only growing one single variety at once, at least until I get more experience. Next Round is gonna be Ethos Amnesia Lemon Auto freebies!!
Another rough week for the WhW Auto. Been plucking dead leaves with a mad OCD frenzy. So much for no touch a while ago, hahaha.
Been feeding all the girls the Grand Finale. The WhW Auto is probably not ready but I am done with here haha i just want it to finish up.
The other two are looking fire smelling fire. the trichomes are really starting to get milky with a few amber.
Things are going well.
I switched to a pH water flush for the PotG Auto and CC Auto. Their runoff ppm is at 900 and 1000 so i am still trying to bring this number down before I chop. I'm also of course keeping an eye on the trichomes. The CC Auto has some new stigma and calyx's so I think I'll wait until those and the lower buds mature. The PotG auto looks as done to me as I want. I'm nervous with the ppm still so high and the sugar leaves turning yellow. I would have chopped already to avoid yellow buds, but I don't want sparkler weed either.
The WhW Auto still looks terrible all kinds of sugar leaves are still dying. The ppm is now lower but the plant is fubar now. I'm just waiting for the trichomes to mature so I can make more potent edibles with it.
Flush flush flush. My runoff ppm has been high and keeps rising between flushes so I'm thinking I've got a salt build up. Been running steady gallons through getting my run off ppms into the 0 to 200 range. We'll see if they rise back up or if I can chop.
Oh goodness, what an adventure this has been in reigniting a passion. I made some big mistakes but overall I'm happy with the result. I believe with the lessons I've learned my next grow will be much better.
I've already got my next grow going and two more plants to cut from this grow. Stay tuned. Any constructive advice or feedback is welcome.
I've had the same struggle with ILGM both times. I need to fine tune my strategy for these gals. Each time I grow beautiful delicious plants in veg and then when they switch to flower it all goes south. I'm not blaming ILGM I need to fix my system but this strain was not nearly as forgiving as the other 2 in this grow.
I hate this plant. I failed in being her guardian and caretaker for habitable life. I couldn't stand the sight of her anymore. Chop chop. On with the next one. One day when my skills are dialed in with no question I will give ILGM another try.
Good strain. Really produced some fat buds, really rock hard with a little squeeze. The smell is amazing. Really fragrant, lemonesque cannabis funk town. My girlfriend said, "this wreaks". I had to move the carbon filter to the dry closet.
This strain was great to grow. Beautiful veg plant. Thick healthy flowing plant. Smell is right on. Density feels solid. Only issue I have is I found a banana sticking out of the flowers, and some seeds growing in my room. So this is my fault because I came in at least one night with my PC on and I'm sure there were other light leaks, but this plant was I think the most sensitive to it.
@Noahbear, I'm no pro but when mines are little I keep it at 50 % and about 30 inches from the plants. As they get bigger gradually increase light intensity.
Hey there, do you mind if I private message you and pick your brain about your ilgm grow, you said you had problems I was curious to know what they were. I have tons of ilgm seeds that I haven't popped yet all amazing strains I'm just curious to know what problems you ran into so I can try to prepare myself. By the way, our gardens look a lot alike. I myself have Dutch Passion Colorado cookies Auto ethos grape diamonds instead of planet of the grapes and ILGM White widow but ILGM not in the ground yet LOL neither is grape diamonds.
All in all, I think you did great man don't be too hard on yourself.
Hey dude :) Amazing buds :) Please give taste/smell feedback asap, I was verry curious about this strain :)
I got some Member OG seeds from Ethos, it will be my next Purple Quest attempt! And first time with reg seeds 😬
SAMPLE THIS QUICK, LISTEN THE 😈 😄
