I started this journal a week late, but it is what it is. This first entry is coinciding with the end of week 1 flower - 01/17/22. This amnesia lemon has is a genetic that has been grown out successfully by a friend for a while now, this was his mom plant that simply outgrew his space. Luckily for me, I had the room, and so now I have the opportunity to pull 1/2 a pound down hopefully. He has had some great success with the Remo nutrients line, so I’ve decided to try them out with this plant and see what they provide for results. This is a big shift from my usual approach of organic soil with dry amendments. Also pictured in the other tent, 2 Amnesia Lemon’s and a Pineapple Express - the Pineapple being another successful genetic from the same friend. They received the flip to 12/12 on 01/16/22. I’m very excited to see how they perform! These plants unfortunately suffered some stress in their youth due to my absence - I was out of town for work, and left my significant other in charge of them. While she did her best, they showed some ph issues and took a bit of time to bounce back. Now I’m in the middle of switching from amended soil to the Remo line with these plants, so they’re showing a bit of nitrogen excess, but I’m confident that the switch to flowering nutrients and a conscious effort to omit nitrogen for the next little bit will remedy the situation. Yeah that oughta do it for now, stay tuned.

Performed a rather aggressive defoliation on day 13. Also strung her to spread the canopy out some more. I know she looks thrashed but she’ll be fine. Tent 2 is approaching end of week 1 flower, everything looking to be in good order there.

This week was a big one. Used some line to start separating the branches to open the camping more in the 3x3. She responded very well to the defoliation on day 14 of Flower, 01/23/22. The buds are Dan near golf ball size already and stacking strong. I’ve begun noticing a nitrogen toxicity develop, so I’m going to feed just adjusted water until she straightens out. In the 5x5 the girls are at day 14 Flower as of 01/30/22. The bud sites are all showing and my god there’s plenty to be seen. I cannot wait for these to start putting on some weight. I defoliated on day 13, 01/28/22. The Pineapple Express is really getting me excited for the weeks ahead.

The 3x3 tent is in desperate need of defoliation, I genuinely don’t understand how some people don’t pluck leaves, oh well. They’ll be cleaned up again on Tuesday - day 29 of flower. These girls are supposed to flower in 8 weeks, so that will be just past the halfway point… so close, yet so far. In the 5x5 things are looking very promising. The Pineapple Express continues to show its joy de vivre and is really starting to turn into a great looking plant. I’m going to be keeping an eye on the 2 Amnesia lemons in this tent to see if I notice any signs of nitrogen toxicity like I did in the 3x3.
