Hello all ! Welcome to my diary, I'm growing four green poison f1 fast versions cannabis strain in 15 litre superoots airpots in a super soil mix (mostly peat, perlite & coco coir mixed with compost and added mycorrhizae and beneficial bacteria)
As for room specs I am using a black orchid hydro box light 1.2x1.2x2m grow tent with a 6 inch fan and filter (rated 480m3) and two led unit 1 75w for vegetative stage and another 180w added for flowering stage (255w total)
Plants are growing nicely, not quite optimum but the humidity keeps dipping into the 30s so is probably the reason, when they're bigger and respirate more the problem should resolve its self
Got some new nutes today to try out I see load of members here using them getting great results
Great growth over last few days they're rooting into there pots lovely I will upload a picture of the bottom of the pot, ROOTS EVERYWHERE !
I got some advanced nutrients to try out just starting on an 1/8 strength of sensi bloom a+b with some 1/4 strength carboload (don't want to over do it as soils still has loads of nutes to give yet) and I've got some big bud and overdrive for flower hopefully big bud lives upto it name 😊
Update : all plants have been returned to plan water, I think I spotting tip burn but it's so small it's hard to tell but I don't want to take any chances so they will be on plan water for the next week and then I'll re-introduce some 1/8th strength nutes again.... Other than that they are doing great ! I'm a little disappointed at #3 & 4 since they aren't doing nearly as good as far as branching but they will come along soon I'm just being fussy haha
Everything is going at a decent pace, I did check on them this morning to find that my fan had swung to the left and was blowing full speed on GPFV #1 but has done minimal damage thankfully... They're all still on plan water rightfully so as what I thought was tip burn was so I caught it very early, I can't see these girls getting a feed until they're in flower now
Feeding changed to have 0.5ml of calmag just as a precaution, I find running 24/7 in veg with leds can bring on a calmag def early on
Update : green poison #1 is starting to throw branches out now so I will be flipping in aprox 5-7 days.... As for #3/4 I will probably take them out the tent during night and veg them an extra 5 days before flip will be a pain but worth it as the size difference would be hard to work with later on in flower
Been away for a while so haven't updated for a few days, day I left i gave all four of them a good soil drench and it did the trick, came back to a happy tent thankfully... the temps did rise a bit tho peaking at 27.8c one plant is showing the slightest bit of leaf curl but it's hardly noticeable all set for flower ! I planned on flipping tomorrow but I'm gonna leave it another day or two since GP#1/2 have shown sex and have started to grow vigouriously, they have both had a light pruning which will be followed up by another when I flower. Will expand on this as the week progresses.... Also while i was away i broke my phone so it will be pretty poor quality photos for a bit :( Hopefully next week I'll have everything sorted
Started a little lst and some intensive leaf tucking lol, it's helping them bush out loads... I'm not really liking these green poisons now the old batches where massively different i guess it's hard for sweet seeds to maintain that sort of lineage but hey ho you win some lose some... Still using the tablet as a camera so the pixels are the size of Lego bricks !!! Next week will be better and they will be blooming by then so I can get some Prime bud shots for you all
Also had a little nitrogen def so I'm upping the feed by another half ml should stop it now
Sorry for lack of updates still haven't go to anything to take photos with. I've a few of green poison 1&2 for now though
They're current about 9 days into 12/12 and are starting to crown off so flowers should start emerging by next week, she's steadily growing an inch a day so she should finish a decent size, maybe around 32 inches. Both are drinking hard nearly a litre a day each and I'll be upping feed shortly
@Prince_Fatty, good luck bro! I'll deffo be watching along the way. Yh I've only had one major issue with it and that was heat burn due to some silly mistakes made by me. It's recovered great now so fingers crossed it'll be a smooth ride from here
@vrac22, hey man good to have you aboard ! This is my 3rd run with this particular strain and it's fantastic ! Not much difference between the two as far as end result but the fast version is indeed a little quicker.. These girls can be triple in size easily during flower so be sure to keep that in mind for your own green poisons ! Other than that they're very easy to grow definitely not fussy eaters or anything (I may be taking cutting this run, I'm looking for the 5,1/2 week pheno the holy grail aha) I've come across it twice and would really like a cut because of its raw speed, I usually don't cut till the 6 and a half week mark for that pheno just to bumper it a little but it's the only strain I've ever seen ready in that sort time must be the auto genetics
