AS OF 1/26/22 I HAD TO START THE ENTIRE THING FROM SCRATCH THIS IS AN UPDATED PICTURE OF THE GERMINATED SEED
After growing their Strawberry Dawgpound and being amazed by the smoke I ordered their Strawberry Bubba Diesel but there was a delay and the seed bank sent me their new strain instead at no extra cost. If the genetics are similar to the Dawgpound then this plant won't like to much watering in the early weeks either.I was tempted to grow this organically but I changed my mind.
This pic is today 2/6/22 when I transplanted from the 1 gallon to 3 gallon. I recently experimented transplanting with different things besides the roots Orgeonism XL which worked great and I never had transplant shock. I saw that when I added humid acid amendment into the hole with worm castings with the Oregonism XL that plant was vibrant compared to others. I personally hate to transport from fabric to fabric because most of the fuckin substrate gets left behind in the bag no matter how slow you go. I'm using 3 gallons this run for my photos for the first time ever because I accidentally germinated 5 more seeds based on my miscalculating the weeks in my calendar, now I have to make this project of 15 plants work while only having 2 available tents until at best mid march. I can see a difference during these early stages from roots organic to the advance nutrients line, its safe to say I'll never go back to roots base nutrients. She's very bushy and has stubby side branches, nothing like the strawberry dawgpound. May have to cut these big fan leaves sooner than later but we'll see.
This plant has very large fan leaves, the type I love to cut because it cast a bad shade over branches. I did my best to tuck the leaves so I can train the branches but I will eventually grow frustrated and remove the fan leaves
Plants like these are very challenging because of how squat and indica like its growing and challenge accepted. I've been holding off on defoliating and trying to leave tuck and she's not having none if this shit, the fan leaves are the size of my palm. I am going to remove most of the fan leaves at this point so the side branches can come to life in the next 3 weeks before flip
Don't have a lot of time these days to take pics so I'll sum things up. CO2 got outta control and the plants took tf off literally. The video is around middle of week 3, I had to flip at week 4 BC I literally ran out of room and I had to constantly defoliate.
Space is limited and I'm struggling with the time to keep up with these plants since things are back to normal on my parts of town. Just gonna keep about eye on em at keep defoliating. Plants flipped after 1 month veg
I smoke a lot and I'm rather afraid of this strain. The buds are dark in color, frosty and smells very tropical. I originally smoked this in a bong upon drying and couldn't finish the bowl, I returned the following night and finished what was left and was still very elevated from what was left. I rolled it up at some point about 3 weeks after drying and I finished the entire thing but went immediately to sleep. I've yet to smoke it while the sun is up and I believe it'll be very irresponsible for me to do that lol.
Compared to Barney's Farm Runtz Muffin I honestly can't say which is better its like choosing between twins despite the difference in bud color. If you can afford the $105USD for 6 beans then give this a try if you're on a budget Barney's Runtz Muffin is a great smoke for $36USD
