I put the seed in paper towel to germinate it and it popped in the normal time as you would have expected it to, however I noticed that the taproot was almost like stuck inside the seed instead of pushing the shell away it was growing in a curve inside the seed, and it hadn't popped out, by this point I can see a little sprout starting to push out from the seed. I removed the shell entirely and separated the taproot from a layer of film INSIDE the seed and popped it in the soil.. took 2 days to pop but seems to grow exactly as the other BB in other pot terminated with no issues.
After 4 days of growth all is well, don't let anyone tell you you can't plant a weed seed embryo after manually removing the shell..
Fun fact:
The pH of distilled water immediately after distillation is 7, but within hours after distillation, it has absorbed carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and become acidic with a pH of 5.8
You aren't doing too bad those are some pretty flowers!
@Sublyme_ness, gotta treat the grow area like a clean room. I even wash my hands before opening the tent. Regularly vacuum outside the grow area and definitely keep pets away. Keep us posted especially if you get a live Thrip bug pic! :)
@@David369, it gets dry in that one corner and its hard to get back there and do anything because its so tight and under the net.... i will try to get a pic, but i brushed on neem oil with a paintbrush as best i could and cut off the worst ones. as for cause, its dry and warm and i should hsve misted the leaves with neem more regularly, i cant clean properly in the corners, and theres probably spaces behind my mirror and under the pot itself bugs can breed.
@Fast_Buds, much appreciated guys... your plants are really abundant and similar to how shown and sold.. cant wait to get some of the freebies from the photo contest in soon. the swag was on point and still much appreciated. hopefully i have done your genetics proud!
