First grow

13_12 Hello to all and welcome to my first grow, I don't have any fancy equipment or anything, not even a tent lol For this grow im going to be growing in a small 80x80 closet The light I'm going to be using is an 80W led light from Greensindoor I'm growing in a 5 gallon pot with Biobizz Lightmix And for the nutes I'm going to be using the Tripart Flora series from General Hydroponics Ok so at the moment it's fairly cold in my apartment so I decided the germinate in my oven, it provided a nice warm dark place for the seed to germinate. I started by soaking the seed for 18 hours in a glass of water (I just used tap water and didn't ph balance it because I read that it wasn't necessary), then using the paper towel method it was left for another 48 hours. When the taproot was about .5cm long I put it in the soil. I don't have a humidifier so I placed a jug of water next to the plant and twice a day would spray water into the closet in the closet to try and keep the humidity levels high. For watering I would just gently moisten the top of the soil with water at a ph of 6.5. It took a couple of day but on the 15/01 my seed had finally sprouted, the seed shell got stuck so I had to carefully remove it allowing the cotyledons to open up. And there we have it my first little plant is now growing ! I am obviously very new to all of this so if any of you have any tips to give me, or even if I'm doing anything wrong, I would love to hear from you ;)
