Hi peeps
7 days above ground and my have they grown lol went too my grow shop today for a few things and was asked did I have root juice.
I actually do have a bottle that I never used and was advised to not go mad and give them a wee nip for the next week to help them on their ways so tonight at lights on I will give them a wee nip and see how they get on.
Thats it for this week folks but the adventure has just been green, everyone be safe and stay green

14 days above the ground and everything is doing great, stopped using root juice this week (as per advice, nothing wrong I was just told to use it from day 7 to 14)
So from now on till the flowering stage I will be using biobizz grow, I have noticed growth nearly everyday and fingers crossed I can top them.
Aiming for just above the fourth node and after that just let them do their thing, I can see the 3rd node developing nicely so hopefully not long. If I do top them I will have pictures up next week. If by any chance they don't get to the 4th node by 21 days I will just lst, I have a rule that I won't top after 21 days.

Time for the weekly update and I have to say I'm really happy with how things are going, firstly I have to say I have been feeding calmag from day 7 at 0.3 ml per litre (just noticed I forgot to add it to my previous updates)
Back to business, I topped 2 out of the 3 ladies on Monday night and have to say they took it like champs they didn't even sulk lol and as you can see by the pictures they didn't slow down they just kept growing, this is my second time topping and I was panicking just encase something bad happened but they seem to have responded well.
The 3rd lady I don't know I just had a gut feeling not to top her, nothing wrong with her as you can see in the pics just had a feeling, so decided to lst instead, she has responded well and you can see the shoots starting to grow and aim for the sky.
As you may notice I snipped a couple of fan leaves off to let more light in, tried tucking them away but it was impossible so I had too get the snips out

That time again, seems like the weeks are flying in.
28 days above ground and I have to say the 3 ladies are doing well, the two ladies that were topped have just kept growing day by day, I decided to do a little lst on them nothing special and I have to say they have taken well to it, im well impressed with the results so far whatever you do to them they just shrug it off and keep going.
The third lady that I decided to lst is doing great as well plenty of shoots popping their heads up.
All three ladies have had a slight defoliation, few leaves had to come off that were blocking bud sites and couldn't be tucked.
Please excuse the photos I forgot to take them earlier and have plans tonight so I had to quickly take them out of bed to get pics for my update.
On the other hand just recieved some Fastbuds Gorilla Cookies today for my next run, you know what it's like always have to plan ahead.

That time of the week again, so my 3 ladies have been above ground for 35 days and my have they grown.
By the looks of things they hit the stretch and taken well to the training I have so far given them.
As you can see from the pictures of my update 7 days ago until now the have exploded in growth and are looking good.
I know I said I wasn't going to lst my topped ladies but curiosity got the better off me and it looks like it might of been the right thing to do as I can see multiple tops shooting up.
The lady that just got the lst has went past my expectations and is forming really nicely. Hopefully these girls give me a nice yield of some nice smoke.
All ladies have had a slight defoliation where future bud sites were covered and I couldn't tuck the leave away.

I have been feeding these girls biobizz grow 3ml per litre along with 2ml of bloom and 1ml of topmax, since the stretch has finished and they have started to flower should I lower my dosage of grow?

are there any toxicity symptoms? If not, then the plant probably needs it still.
despite a widely held belief that the plants all of a sudden don't require N in bloom is an unproven in any meaningful way.. like people's obstinate belief that flushing reduces mineral content in buds... ppl used to say that with striking confidence and it's totally wrong. I'd bet money this will be yet another urban myth proven false with only a modicum of reputable research.
If the leaves start getting dark green and other issues related to a toxicity, that means the plant is no longer using it at the same rate and you should dial back N in you rmix...
if this never happens, then it is clearly still using the N and you should still be providing it at a similar concentration/rate.
N is used in cellular growth...whether stems or buds. it's part of DNA / RNA, numerous other cellular parts, hormones, et al... is there a proportional difference? maybe... but if it never shows a toxicity it is using the damn molecule, lol. it's an assumption made be a mob of people that have never taken a single biology or chemistry class. if proven through study or you see the plant reacting as discussed, then you can put a little more faith into it.
in my experience, i rarely have to dial back from 120-130ppm N. Rarely, there is a strain that will want a bit less or i'll get a minor amount of clawing and dark foliage with weak stems -- all symptoms of an N-tox. "That" plant wanted a little less N and it was probably true long before bloom phase, too.
What i don't have is a burnt up, quickly deteriorating, necrotic canopy of dead leaves that can't photosynthesize after just 6-7 weeks of bloom, lol. Senescence is sometimes inevitable, but what i see from "bloom" formulas as instructed by these 'marijuana-branded' fertilizer companies often leads to a fucked up plant. if it has a child-like cartoon graphic on the front, you should assume they aren't professional products, LOL... at the least it is a high correlation.
2 of my girls have started flowering nicely the past week but the other hasn't started showing pre flowers, had a check this morning and its defo not male or a herm, if I switched my lights to 12/12 for a week would this help it along and would it damage the others?
No do not switch lights it will not help, but hurt. Autos do their thing in their time. Different strains Different finish times. Usually a drawn out going to flowering on my autos means it will be a big harvest. Good luck and be patient. 🌱🤜🤛

6 weeks today man have they grown, think if I treat them right i will have a good harvest when the time comes.
Well had a bit of a set back, 2 of the girls are flowering beautifully and the 3rd even though she was healthy just didn't want to do anything, so I contacted the bro who has been growing 20+ year and he said he would take it, when he came over had a look at it and chucked it out, he told me not to be wasting my time on it and focus on the other two.
So as you can see from last week the 2 girls I have left have being growing very well both flowering nicely and starting to smell a bit more.
Haven't really been doing much to them just letting them do their thing, cut a few leave of here and there, cut the lst string off since they don't need it now and obviously adjusted their feed.
Have high hopes for them, hoping for a good yield from them fingers crossed since I lost the other.

Hi everyone
Another week has passed and time for another update.
The ladies are doing brilliant do not have a single complaint. I'm really enjoying this grow since I changed back to biobizz nutrients, had a bad experience with advanced nutrients my last run, not saying they are crap just didn't work for me.
As you can see they are starting to produce the goods, one is a few days ahead of the other as you can see by the pic's but what can you do thats just mother nature.
Sticking with the lower dosage of grow but have up'd my bloom and topmax. The girls are loving the nutrients take whatever you throw at them.
Haven't been doing much to them really leaf tucked or snipped here and there if they are covering a bud site. Now just to sit back and watch them get fatter while I get high as a kite lol

Another week gone, they are definitely going in too fast.
So the topped lady in my opinion is kicking ass compared to the lady that had just Lst but to be honest I think the Lst'd lady is a bit behind schedule but time will tell.
The topped girl has nice chunky colas and nice bud sites forming I'm amazed at how she is preforming everytime I go into water.
The Lst'd one is producing buds but not as big as her sister this is what has lead me to believe either the strain likes Topping rather than Lst or she is just a bit slower.
Haven't changed the nutrient dosage as they both seem happy but I did raise my lights a tad as I think it was a bit to much for them.

Week 9 and what can I say the ladies are doing brilliant.
As you may notice with my pictures the topped and lst'd lady is by far out preforming the lady that is just lst'd. I'm really happy with the outcome of her. Just goes to show you can top an auto and with good care you will be rewarded.
Made a slight change to my nutrient solution. Dropped the grow down to 1ml per litre and upped the bloom and topmax to 5ml per litre also upped my calmag to 1.5ml per litre as they are getting big and packing on the weight.
Noticed the bottom leaves are starting to turn yellow don't know whether to up my grow again till 2mls per litre as she has a few weeks yet and don't want to starve them. So any help or information will be appreciated.
Sorry about the bud pics I took my photos and put them back in the tent and then realised I didn't get bud shots and was too lazy to lift them out again. I will try and remember next week.

Another week gone and another week closer to the all exciting harvest time and I have to say I'm super excited.
1st of all the topped and lst'd lady is kicking ass and the weight she has put on is unreal, if you have a look at the pic's I have taken you will see how amazing she is doing. She can't actually stand straight the weight of her buds I pulling her to the side so I will have to add supports to steady her.
The lst'd lady is doing great not as amazing as her sister but she is producing well.
So the experiment between topped and lst'd compared to just lst'd has just shown with a little care you can top autos and have amazing results. I was afraid when I topped her but from now on I think I will be topping and lsting all my ladies.
Just to sit back and relax and wait for the all important chop day.

Another week gone and I think fingers crossed and depending on all checks I might harvest next week.
Girls are at maximum swelling and I have to say the Lst'd one was a bit of a surprise. She has good buds on her but on my check today I was amazed to see whe couldn't stand up right lol the weight she has put on surprised me so have to say I'm delighted. Had to run down to the local grow store and buy some more bamboo sticks to fasten her too so that she was supported.
The topped and lst'd lady I have to say is the clear winner the shear bud mass and weight of her is impressive, i had her supported but it wasn't enough she put on more weight and had to be supported even more. When I was actually moving her and I was doing it carefully she completely bent over and all I heard was a snap, she snapped the main stem right at the bottom but luckily it wasn't a clean break she was still pieced together (nearly ended up with two plants).
Quickly grabbed her supported her and used the old duct tape trick lol im not really worried because she will be coming down soon but just goes to show the shear weight of her buds.
So honestly topped and lst'd compared to just lst'd the winner by far is the topped and lst'd. I know some people frown upon it with auto but just goes to show if you plan and put effort into it you can do it.

It's that time again and I'm excited to say that I'm on track for the ladies being cut down next week.
Seems like only yesterday I started my journey and its nearly at the final stages.
Nothing much has changed reduced my nitrogen away down as you can see both ladies are starting to use up their what they have stored and the leaves are starting to yellow up and die.
The topped and lst'd lady has completely blown my mind the buds on her rock hard, chunky and dam I have given her bamboo shoots to help support her bud structure and they are that big and heavy she is still wanting to pull to the side. Checked the trichs and we are near 100% cloudy with Amber trichs coming in.
The lst'd lady omg she was a sneaky one, a few weeks ago I looked at her and though hmmmm she has a good amount of bud sites but not asmuch as her sister. We'll tonight when I pulled her out for a feed/inspection I was like holy fk where did you come from her buds have exploded in growth so needless to say I'm over the moon. Her trichs are mostly cloudy but she is getting there.
Now the lst lady is a wee tad bit behind but not by much so upon advice from my main man Topicannibis_Todd I have switch my light to 24hrs so that she gets a good boost until chop day next weekend.

Complete over the moon with the harvest couldn't ask for better, as for the final weight and smoke report it will follow once the buds have hung dried for about 10 - 14 days humidity dependant.
This strain is definitely on my list to grow again. For beginners this would be a brilliant strain to grow, easy and brilliant producer.
She can't handle topping so definitely good if you want to try your hand at that.
