Dr.Seeds sunset sherbert

Slow start but once the tail end of week two of it being sprouted came around it and it was transplanted into the root farm/worm castings combo it was doing better. Will top and LST Was fed it’s first round of Diablo nutrients 3 part micro, grow bloom, monster cal, monster maxx, monster black. I use their websites feeding program for 1 litre but dilute it slightly in a 1.5 litre bottle. I only feed once a week when seedlings but will feed twice a week once bigger. I also foilar feed the monster cal-mag and dakine420 foilar science during the week

Very little stretch starting to move faster was topped at 4 node and moved into 18/6 from 24/h light. Foilar feeding cal-mag and dakine foilar science will start to LST after topping and more growth. Still feeding the Diablo nutrients weekly and using their feeding calculator in their website for 1 litre diluted in 1.5 litres of water.

Still on the same feeding schedule from Diablo feeding calculator once a week for 1 litre diluted in 1.5 litres of water. Plants been dollar feed with Diablo cal-mag and dakine420 foilar science. Plant is doing well and will start being LST in the next week. Very bushy I removed the first single set of leaves and the first set of 3 leaves to help it bush out at the end of this week.

The sunset sherbert is growing well in two more weeks but weekly feedings will begin light is now around 75% and will stay there for the rest of veg. Diablo feedings will move to twice a week by week 6 still foilar feeding Diablo calmag and dakine420 foilar science. Temps are still around 80 is taking feedings well.

This week the plant was LST more/ had its gardening wire tightened to help bush it out. The tallest most centrally located branch was topped at its second node to help all lower and highest branches level out. Sunset sherbert is doing well nutrients will increase to twice a week starting next week. The viparspectra xs1000 is doing well it’s still at 75% on the dimmer. I haven’t moved the light yet but will likely start ratcheting it up by the 1/8” increments on the adjusters starting next week. I switch over to 100% on the dimmer during flowering. I’m also using a ac infinity raxial 4” duct booster intake fan, vornado v10 oscillating fan to circulate and a spiderfarmer 4” smart exhaust fan to extract warm air. I also use a 4” carbon filter.

This was a big week of growth for the sunset sherbert. I was given this seed from a friend who highly recommended it telling me it was one of his top two strains he’s grown. This strain started slow but has had explosive growth the last few weeks. This sunset sherbert was fed Diablo nutrients twice a week. The nutrients have moved to week 3 of diablos feeding schedule based off their feeding calculator. I’m still measuring for 1L but mixing it to 1.5L. Ive continued foilar feeding diablos cal-mag and dakine420 foilar science. I started feeding it diablo frost as I plan to move the sunset sherbert into 12/12 in the next 1-2 weeks depending on growth. The sunset sherbert has recovered from the second topping and has responded well to the LST. I tied the branches down in new higher spots. The plant was pulled down nicely using gardening wire secured to 1.25” binder clips on the smart pot. The plant was tied down and within 6 hours had adjusted. This strain has given me some interest in trying some other strains from dr.seeds in the future depending on how flowering goes.

This week saw the sunset sherbert grow wider thanks to the LST and 2nd topping. The highest central branches received a slight LST fastened to an extra set of binder clips and gardening wire. I did a very light defoliation this week just to clear out some larger fan leaves in way of new growth. Plant is feeding well and will probably wait another 1-2 weeks before switching over to flowering. I’m still quite impressed with this strain during veg. She will be given a second defoliation next week then a week to recover then switched to flower. The monster frost has been stepped up to 2ml/1.5L this nutrient mix is still being mixed in to 1.5L of water.

The sunset sherbert is still doing well, it has really bushed out again and recovered from it defoliation last week. It has grown about 6“ in height and width making it17” tall and 17” wide. I have another defolation planned for this week as well to bring more light into the canopy. I’m still on veg-week 3 of diablos feeding schedule and will more then likely switch over to flower after this week. The sunset sherbert has been fed Diablo frost prior to bud to help it get ready for its transition. It’s drinking pretty heavily now about 1.5 L a day. Nutrients are still fed twice a week as well as foilar feeding is still occurring during the week but will stop by week 2 of flowering. The viparspectra xs1000 is still being ratcheted up at 1-2/8” on the ratcheting straps daily. When switching over to flower I will do 1/8” increments every other day to try and help slow the stretch of the plant.The sunset sherbert has a stronger smell while in veg so I’m already running my carbon filter.

This was the sunset sherbert’s last week in veg before switching over to flowering. There was some more bottom defoliation to clear up any small branches. Top also received a light defoliation and will get one more next week as a lot was done to clear up the lower third. The training continued to help keep everything nicely spaced on the canopy going into flower. Feeding are still bi weekly using the Diablo feeding schedule based off their website. I have it set so the first feeding of next week the sunset sherbert will get it’s flowering nutrients and timer will be switched over. Looking forward to seeing how flower goes. Growth has been good i did another tie down/pull down on all the branches and have stakes ready for flowering to help support the arms for when they pack on some weight so will do that next week after the planned canopy defoliation. The light will be turned up from 75% to 100 % during flower. I’m still slowly raising the light during flower to hopefully not run out of space in height. The sunstream 2x2 is pretty great with the 56” height most other 2x2 tents are 48” the extra 8” make a huge difference during flowering and was one of the main reasons I purchased it a while back when I was looking for my first tent.

The sunset sherbert is doing well, I did another round of LST to help space some outer branches followed with some defoliation of the canopy to keep it open. I’m still following the Diablo feed calculator on their website and am enjoying the growth in the plant. I’ve kept foilar feeding through a week one and will do one last foilar feed after I feed it nutrients for week 2 of flower. It had a little during its first week of flower but trying to minimize that by moving the xs1000 1/8” a day on the ratchet hangers. I’m looking forward to see how it progresses during flower. I was impressed enough by these genetics from dr.seeds that I paced an order to try their ram widow photoperiod next plus their Tutankhamen auto (singe seed freebie) and 24k god autoflower strain.

We have hit second week of flower and the Dr.seeds sunset sherbert is still impressing me some of the pistils have pink running through them already. There seems to be plenty of flowering sites and has a bit of stretch to the plant, depending on the day I’m still moving the light at 1-2 clicks on the 1/8” ratcheting hangers. Im still using the Diablo nutrients feeding calculator on their website and mixing the calculated 1lite amount and mixing with 1.5L of ph balanced water. I’ll stop foilar feeding now that we are entering week 2. The sunset sherbet is still getting light defoliation to areas of the canopy for better light penetration but nothing exaggerated. The LST is continuing with branches being pulled for better light penetration to lower areas. Very impressed with this plant it is definitely an interesting grow, at first I felt this plant was going to be slow and unenjoyable but by the end of the third week I started saying explosive daily growth. I can’t wait to see if more colours start to show during the next weeks of flower and how all the sites develop.

The sunset sherbert is doing great. There’s been some progressive growth during flowering. I tried to capture the pink pistils but when photographed came out more purple, but they are really a vibrant pink. The Diablo nutrients are doing great I’m following their feeding schedule off their website. I’ve been using monster frost with every watering as I only feed nutrients twice within a week. I’ve always enjoyed frost and always see early terp development using it I think it’s a great product. The sunset sherbert is still having some stretch but still trying to mitigate that by only adjusting the ratcheting hangers 1/8” to 2/8” of an inch a day. I find this helps slow the massive stretch you see in the first few weeks of flower especially when you are in limited height situation. Other then that theres just been light lead defoliation to open up the canopy and get better light penetration to lower areas.

The sunset sherbert is a very impressive strain, the plant structure is amazing and consistent and is looking healthy. Since the last LST I’ve just being doing light defoliations of the canopy and any flowering sites for light penetration. Still following the Diablo feeding schedule. I’ve recently purchased Diablo monster k (flower densification) to try out. I’ve been fairly impressed with Diablo’s nutrient line this product is interesting as you only feed it during week 6/7. At around the halfway point now of flowering and still looking forward to seeing how the sunset develops and on trying some of the new dr.seeds genetics I picked up recently.

Wow this seed from dr.seeds has impressed me ever since the 3rd week of veg. On the 5th week of flowering I’ve seen some substantial changes. So visually the plant started gaining some purple in its leaves early last week. By the end of week 5 we are seeing almost 50% of the main/larger colas turning purple and packing on the trichomes. The trichomes are dense and look like sugar sprinkled on the plant. The sunset sherbert is doing great on the Diablo feeding schedule. Now that we are hitting week 6 I’ll be feeding the sunset sherbert Diablo monster k flower densification to help push these flowers. The smell is still fairly strong but my carbon filter and extraction fan are handling the smell quite well. I’m looking forward to seeing the flower develop more during the next few weeks.

The sunset sherbert is developing well with some beautiful purpling during flowering. During week 6&7 I feed the plants Diablo- monster k to help bulls density. I’m still on the Diablo feeding schedule and the sunset sherberts looking great. We will see how it keeps developing over the next few weeks.

The sunset sherbert continues to impress me during flowering. The colouring has spread to most of the main colas, the smell is intoxicating and the trichomes are stacking up. I’m still following the Diablo schedule but feel like the sunset may need 9-10 weeks to fully develop so I gave the sunset sherbert another feeding of Diablos monster k and have been feeding cal-mag with every feeding to help get the max out of flower. The viparspectra xs1000 is impressing me again. This is arguably my favourite light when compared to the Mars hydro ts1000.

This will be the final week of nutrients for the dr.seeds sunset sherbert. This plant has really impressed me enough to the point I’ve ordered other genetics form dr.seeds. Nutrients are winding down it will be getting its last feeding of nutrients then will be starting a flush. The plant is looking great flowers have been feed some more monster k to help build some extra bulk, and has been getting the Diablo calmag every watering. The colours are vibrant and even smaller flowering areas have hues of purple. Still only trimming fan leaves that are blocking other sites or directly touching flowering sites. The trichomes have really started to stack and calyx is becoming nice and plump. Can’t wait to see what the next week brings out in the sunset sherbert.

The sunset sherbert blew me away as I got this seed from a friend I was so impressed I got some more genetics from dr.seeds. And will be doing those next. The smell is a danky fruity smell and can’t wait to see the colouring when dry. These buds were coated in trichomes and very dense (I’m not sure if it was from the Diablo monster k or it’s genetics but they became way more dense near the end). My guess is 3oz when dried but could be more.
