Hi! Last week the scrog net was installed and the branches accommodated below the net. During this week the branches thickened and a lot of new bud sites appeared and started growing vigorously. Some of the new growth on the pruned tops stretched, the recently pruned branches does not seem to be at its full power, I guess it’s because the plant focused on the new growth between the nodes, maybe I’ve gone too far with the top pruning, time will tell. A defoliation was needed to let new growth get more light, also the bottom leaves and new growth was removed. Nothing was added or modified on the soil since the transplant. I haven’t reinstalled the Blumat yet, first I need to learn the soil behavior between waterings to find the accurate moisture level. Today I mist a kelp seaweed soluble solution to the leaves (2ml/L). For the next week I’ll water with the last veg AACT to improve the soil micro life before switching to flowering, hopefully the net will be full with bud sites for the 12/12 hours light cycle I plan to switch this weekend. I already can feel some smell on the room the grow tent is installed, I got a carbon filter ready to be installed when the smell become stronger. That all for now, preparing for the flowering weeks ahead :)
