Starting the journal week 3. Just found the site and wanted to try journaling. Seed is IGLM Chocolope fem. Germination was aprx 4 days. The plant was topped 17 Jan. Using a cheap LED light waiting for a KIND 220 to arrive.
27 Jan: Plant is recovering well from topping. Topping was performed 17 Jan today there is good growth on the two emerging stems. Watering just enough to get some run off. I used half of the recommended dose of a 2 part nute SENSI. Alternating clear water with nute water every other feeding.
3 Feb: KIND X220 came in today and was set up. Nicely built light putting out a lot of light. Set it up 18" from top light 100% IR/UV 0%
5 Feb Did some LST and clipping today. Started training to a manifold grow.
The tent was moved over the weekend. Added an air input with variable speed fan, carbon filter and a stretch net. That should keep the air flow circulating well. Also added 3 ZKittle autos to the tent and pushed the light over to 12 to start he flower cycle on the Chocolope.
Plants have been in 12/12 for a week. Trimmed up the base and the tops are looking good. experimented with clipping one top at the beginning of 12 /12.
Tops are growing and beginning to develop an aroma. The plant over all looks very healthy and has been an easy grow. I just picked up a larger tent and as soon as I have all the equipment for it I will use this tent for drying or clones. This little 3x3 has been really great for starting to learn in but I am looking forward to the room in a 4x5
This sweetheart is looking wonderful. I was going to harvest this weekend but I remember reading something about if you think its ready wait 1 week. So I will wait a week and see if they change while I flush with PH'd water
I will update with dry weight in a few days - week. The plant is hanging in a 3x3 tent kept dark @ 45% humidity and about 70 F for 3 days. Branches are still pliable seems to be a nice slow dry slipping to about 62F at night. I am really looking forward to trimming, weighing and getting her in a container to cure.
