Ok, time for an auto in my small 40x40cm tent! I've got a 100w Spiderfarmer which should do really well in this little space. I plan on training this one, which I don't normally do for autos, due to limited room.
She germinated quickly in the peat and I ripped the bottom off the paper pot and put her straight into the 2gal.
No feed yet as the Canna Terra has some nitrogen in it already, so I'll wait until it's got a couple of sets of leaves.
She is growing nicely. Very early days at only 10 days old, but she taken off well.
I don't plan on touching her now until she shows signs of stretching, and I may train her a bit.
No stress so far so hopefully she roots well and starts drinking.
Growing nicely! Day 16 and growth rate is good, no stunting so far and you can tell she's using the nutrients from the supersoil as she is turning dark green.
Beautiful looking growth, really dark green from the Gro Dirt which Is common. I mixed this one about 60/40 with Canna Terra because I usually use the Gro Dirt Lite for my autos.
I will not top or train this one, just going to let her ride. She started showing hairs a few days ago, and i'm now on day 24.
I'm not far off putting her back in the small tent, as she's in the 2x4 at the moment with my other vegging plants under a Vipar Sprectra p1500 until I need the room.
It's been a bit of a change up since the last entry. I have now put her into the miniscule 40x40cm tent, under the Spider Farmer SF1000.
She started flowering and getting taller so for something different i decided to LST the main stem, and bent it over twice. The first time it curved back up overnight, but the second time it stayed and now i have a fairly nice even canopy happening.
This is important as i have such limited height and space around the plant, i really want to keep it as evenly spread as possible. I wont defol yet, as it's doing well and isn't too dense with leaves.
She's starting to get a little smelly, in a good way. The stretch has stopped, and she is now filling in. I still haven't removed many leaves, as it isn't too dense despite looking like it.
There's a little purpling on the edge of the leaves, but I usually get that in small containers and think that's the cause. I'm happy with the progress so far!
