Left seeds in water for 18 hours then transferred the seeds to tent folded in damp paper towels at 75 degrees and 50 rh enclosed in 2 plates and covered. 2 days later on the 23rd the seeds had formed 1/8-1/2 inch tap roots and were placed in the growing medium.

I would flush the soil out completely and begin feeding it very weak recipe once you begin to see it recover. Adjust your PH down to 6.1 as well. It is for sure nutrient-related likely too strong of a feed combined with a lockout from unbalanced PH. It is not from too much light. Cannabis plants leafs will turn inwards like a taco to shutdown photosynthesis when they receive too much light, We call this "tacoing" it is easy to identify. Cannabis plants in general love heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it, So we can exploit that in veg and early flower with both photoperiods and autoflower strains. 79-84 with lights on and no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. Also at this stage the humidity in the air will really help supplement their smaller root structure with some foliar intake. Try to get your humidity up to 60-70%. If you struggle to do this leave a bucket full of water with no lid on it in the tent it will help passively raise your humidity up. Once your plants have finished their vertical growth and are fully into their flowering stage, We want to then open up our temp gap between lights on and lights off. At this stage instead of causing the plants to stretch it will signal them to put extra energy into the budding process and resin production. You are still early in their life cycle so do not fear, Sometimes new growers can over-do it when they are learning to grow so try and take a deep breathe everything will be OKAY friend. We will save them and get them looking good, So for now ease back on the nutrients flush them until they show signs of recovery. Autoflowers do not need a very complex feed program to begin with. Cannabis plants autoflowers or not, Photosynthesize and store energy during lights on & sleep and do most of their growth with lights off. I find autoflowers respond well to at least 4 hours of dark cycle and need it to really do well. 20/4 seems to be best for them. If you have not done so yet research VPD, Vapor pressure deficit, and how it relates to growing cannabis. Get yourself a digital PPM & PH meter off amazon for cheap and make sure your PH is on point it is very important 5.9-6.1 in soil like pro-mix is great. Also, get yourself a PAR meter and a thermal laser temp gun to better read your plants and grow to their needs. They are very important pieces of equipment for all growers. Make sure your feed temps are in the range of about 68. The roots do not like too cold of water or it can stunt them and right now we need to get them all the help that we can. If the feed temps are too warm we can cause root rot so we have to be conscious of that. I hope these tips help you out friend I am always around to help people out so feel free to message me. All I ask in return is you check out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary and follow my profile & subscribe to my youtube. I will be producing a tutorial series shortly to help growers out I hope you will find it interesting. Keep it up friend and stay positive, The plants feed off our energy and positivity is the best medicine for them.

Sounds good so far allthough you might want to add some pictures as that's always helpful in order for us to spot problems that you might have missed. Is there anything in particular that you are unsure about? I'm wishing you all the best for your first grow, have fun!

@Onmymommaonmyhood, If you have a somewhat popular smartphone then the accuracy is pretty darn good as they calibrate the app for each specific model. I tested this against a very high end lab-calibrated quantum sensor with an iPhone 13. Manufacturers of lights always puff up their numbers a bit to get sales that’s to be expected. Good to hear you found this helpful :)

@Elodin, checked my ppfd was reading slightly low at 24 inch moved too around 22 inch and achieved 230 umols par and DLI of 19.1 not sure how accurate Photone is but seems to be very reasonable checked the heat with the hand test and had no problems. Thanks for the advice. Ps manufactures recommended hang height is 24” to achieve 323 umols.

@Onmymommaonmyhood, Looking good so far! I'd advise to just measure the light output instead of any guessing work as lamps even from the same vendor sometimes vary wildy in output so I cant tell you to just set it at a certain distance. A good way to measure light output inexpensively is to use an app like "Photone" which is available for both iOS and android. It'll give you a measurement in µmol/m² (micro mole per square meter), For seedlings you're aiming at 200-300µmol/m². With an app like this it's a simple matter of adjusting the height or dimmer of your light until you reach the desired values. If you google something like PPFD that should lead you in the right direction to learn more about those numbers. I can also reccomend watching "Cannabis Grow Lighting Myths and FAQs with Dr. Bruce Bugbee" on YouTube where Dr. Bugbee explains lightning in cannabis in some detail. Cheers!
