Onto wet paper towel on the 24th of Jan 2022, sprouted and potted on the 26th, pics taken end of week one, on the 30th Jane 2022. Seedsman Cream & Cheese CBD / THC hybrid X 3 seeds and 1 freebie from mid 2021 - a Seedsman Blueberry (fem photoperiod) Cream & Cheese seeds popped and added to BioBizz Allmix along with a sprinkle of Great White. A week later, I popped the Blueberry because I thought I had lost one of the Cream & Cheese but it has since recovered. Not much to say or write and, pic taken at day 6 from the seed being removed from the dry storage container. Looking forward to running these and, they're my first grow in 4 months. Talking of which I must complete/update my last diary - the Cheese cuttings. Under a TS1000 at 50% with a low running fan for added wobbliness. I have now bought a Mars Hydro FC - E3000 light and will swap out the TS1000 in a week or so. Updates coming soon! Thanks for reading.

Veg week 1, nothing much to report apart from my errors, that is! So I dun goofed up... I'd intended to pop 3 Cream & Cheese (Seedsman, fem photoperiod) seeds initially and they took a while - 3 days actually, to be good enough to pot, on day 5, 2 were doing really well but one was struggling. I gave it another couple of days before mild panic set it and I removed the seed casing within which seed 3 had been struggling to shift. I thought I had lopped her head off so, somewhat in despair I pulled another seed from my collection and germinated that instead (a Blueberry fem photoperiod from Seedsman). I left the remains of seed 3 in the pot and didn't check back until I needed to pot the Blueberry. Got a bit of a shock as it seems that my fears were unfounded. I think due to the fact that seed 3 had struggled, she was showing no colouration but it turns out that 48 hours under the light, she not only recovered but had her cotyledon and first single leafs intact! Yay, I thought, as I struggled to make the maths work... 4 plants in a 80 X 80 X 180 tent? So my problem, self inflicted - kinda - is that I have 2 C&C seeds best part of a week of development away from seed 3, and the Blueberry is half a week behind that - a 10 day effective spread. I was going to flip on week 4 but will have to make a judgement call on them - perhaps flip the Blueberry and the late C&C a bit early, otherwise the first two will end up needing a lot more space and a lot more defoliation. In preparation I have bought a Mars Hydro FC-E3000 which at 300W, will have a better chance than my current TS1000 (150W). Talking of which, I have limited experience with grow lights but I have to say, the TS1000 has been utterly brilliant. I digress. I do have a 120 X 120 X 200 tent that's brand new and unused so I could run the 4 girls in there BUT I only have a 4" extraction set-up, so my earlier error and lack of patience is becoming a bit expensive! The C&C came up a bit spindly/leggy... also my fault as I had the light at 50% for a couple of days and ordinarily I would run the TS1000 at full whack from day 1 so, I won't repeat that experiment.

Start of week 2, girls are doing OK. Yesterday, end of week one, I installed the FC-E3000 LED lamp from Mars Hydro. What a fricken beast that thing is! It is set at 65% output so, guessing 200W or so, some 50W higher than my TS1000 would draw from the wall. That thing is amazing, my light readings at the corners of my tent are almost 4 times what they were with the TS1000. I digress... So, the spindly girls are not something I have experienced before - mine have always come through squat, and strong like bull. I can work with it - it's all good. The 3rd C&C seed seems more squat, and, bless it, the Blueberry is playing a massive game of catch up! No issues so far, so off we trundle for another few days. Thanks for reading. :)

Missed week 3 so, we're at the start of week 4. The girls have come on well and considering the environment changes, doing OK so far! I went from the GreenLab Pro 80X80X180CM tent to a BudBox 100X100X200CM white. I then changed out the Mars Hydro TS1000 for a FC-E3000. Then the extraction changed too. The girls are likely as confused as I am! Following a couple of stable days of lighting and so forth, 2 or the 3 Cream & Cheese have been topped but I've left the 3rd to run out more as the internode spacing is low - likely due to too much light/not enough/too much, ad-nauseum. I will likely top her too when she shows enough distance to do so on the main cola. The Blueberry is a straggly beast... I will top her too at some point. Again, I'm finding that the light changes have bunched and opened out the node spacings kinda irregularly. Not insufferable though, all 4 girls are doing pretty well actually. Feeds have started following potting to final. Plant Success Great White used a lot (love this stuff, REALLY love this stuff) and I have started with a 0.5+0.5ml/L combo of Biobizz FishMix and BioBizz Grow which will continue. Lot's to do with these girls yet in terms of training in the next few days and weeks. I think 7 days and I'll flip them. I've also just started another run which will be in a separate diary, using the older GreenLabs Pro tent that is spare following the BudBox installation. More to follow!

I am sooooo sorry for the lack of updates - I have been super-busy and work got in the way. Things are going well, the Cream & Cheese being ultra-easy to work with, the Blueberry being an interesting plant that I HST'd at week 5, at mid level, as she was getting way too high. Feeds (BioBizz Fish Mix, Grow, Bloom and Top Max have been supplemented with Plant Success Great White and a holistic amount of CalMag, once weekly. I have added nothing else. News then, erm... oh, I went away for 8 nights and had to leave a trusted family member to look after the girls (two tents, the C&C and Blueberry in one, and 3 Blue Dream) in another. That went well, although I was somewhat fussing over them and asking for daily updates. Talking of updates, I will endeavour from here on out to update the grows now, once a week, up until curing stage, to include final harvest yield details for the grows. Pictures added, taken this morning. Thanks for reading. :)

End of week 10 from seed. About end of week 6 from start of flowering. SO we're at somewhere between day 45 of 12/12 Things are going well still other than my not yet having dialled in the FC-E3000; on one of the plants I have some area of tip burn (mild) and it's now under control as I have raised the heights. That same plant have one plant has what seems like a phosphorus deficiency too, so can only assume lighting AND deficiency as a result. The other two C&C are absolutely fine - all have had the same organic BioBizz nutes so, I have now asked a grower question about this one plant. Thoughts please? As I say, the other two are A-OK! :) Update, thanks to growers for confirming my CalMag suspicions. I have now added more and have also added Alg-A-Mic. Seems my earlier holistic attempts were not enough and she needed more. This C&C certainly seems more calcium sensitive than any of my previous runs. The Blueberry is gone. Totally my fault, letting someone else water her for 9 days was not the best idea and, she was the only one of 7 plants not in a plastic AirPot and the drainage holes, on stand-offs, meant there was a 50mm deep part of the base that built up nutes and ended with her locking out, stressing, ultimately, and seeding. I only noticed too late unfortunately. On examination of the root zone my suspicions were confirmed added to which the lack of development, or at least, what seemed like it, saw the trichs losing that mushroom appearance and looked more like hairs. She was doing so well, too. I have learned an awful lot from her demise but that said there is enough to work with to create or add to the bubble hash pile. The Cream & Cheese, aside of my getting used to the new lighting and them having a bit of a calcium deficiency, is doing well; the buds are coming along well and are fattening, resinous and smell amazing. I have uploaded a few pictures and as ever, thanks for reading. I think we'll see harvest in 3 weeks at this rate!

One of my 3 Cream & Cheese has upper leaves on 3 stems/colas per the pic. The lower leaves are OK, the other 2 plants are fine. Thought calcium at first as phosphorus is more lower leaves? Maybe just add CalMag? Thank you so much!!

Yep, fairly typical example of cal/mag deficiency - symptoms of calcium deficiency in pic one and magnesium in pic 2. Damaged leaves will not recover, but adding more cal/mag asap will stop it getting too much worse. Remedy won't happen overnight, but it should pick up in a week or so. Generally, what is now showing in the leaves, is a reflection on what was going on in the soil 2 weeks ago. Remember to give all your plants cal/mag, preventing problems is better than curing problems! Hope this helps, Organoman.

Mid week 11, Calcium deficiency day 3 - been treating with Bio Bizz CalMag at the prevailing, recommended rate. 1 out of 3 plants showing the deficiency - the other two are just fine. I am in the middle of producing a nice worm castings tea with molasses. I will add this, with CalMag, Alg-A-Mic, Grow, Bloom and Top Max on the next feed run which is tomorrow. Other than that we're in great shape - the girls smell utterly amazing, and have that unmistakable Cheese aroma, with an added peppery pasty slice follow up which leads to a Cheesy floral finish. It's so addictive - I must stop messing with the one lower bud that I use to satisfy my addiction of smelling them. What else can I say about the C&C... well, not a lot, I would say that they're calcium sensitive, more so, I mean, than any grows I have run before; I treated previous runs with almost holistic charges of CalMag but one of these has needed the restorative charge of a full 1.4ml/L to balance her. Other than that, Great White, Bloom, Grow, TopMax and now, Alg-A-Mic are working out just fine! Trichs are between 50 and 60% cloudy, best I can average over the run, a few amber, again, maybe 5% or so, and plenty of clear still so, I think 2 weeks or so, and then an extra week to fatten and firm the calyxes; pistils are very much turning beautifully so, yeah, kinda fits with my prediction so, flush will start in about 10 days - I just need to ensure I have the Calcium dialled in with a smack of extra phosphorus from the worm tea before I think about the flush. Thanks for reading, as ever. Pics for reference. StuG69

I wish I'd got better pics but, lights just went out so, apologies for the poop update this week. Where are we then.... These buds are soooooo sticky, and they absolutely REEEEEK, but sooooo good. Great strain - really enjoying the grow and the result so far. I seem to have arrested the Cal deficiency that one of the girls was suffering from. Baffles me that 3 seeds, all having exactly the same routine, everything, is Cal sensitive and the others are just bumbling on regardless. That said I have upped the CalMag across all three, likewise worm tea. I bought an aquarium pump so am now bubbling my feeds. I said last week I will start the flush soon but, trichs are not in that window of anticipation so, I think I will start next week. The last week for sure has seen a good deal of fattening up of the calyxes in terms of density rather than mass, as it were. Again, apologies for the shitty update, the next one will be much more complete and rounded with better pics. If you haven't please do check my other diaries, two of which are 'in progress' grows, one of which is a full on outdoor grow on an autoflower, which despite being only just started, should be fun to follow. My other grow, the Garden of Green 'Blue Dream' is in week 3 of flower and is looking OK, but hey, you be the judge - leave a comment! Thanks so much, and peace. StuG

2 days ago was the last full feed and today was start of the flush. I'm pretty pleased with the calyxes density and such; pistils and trich state seem about on point right now but trying to predict exact harvest readiness is something else, an art form, if you will, and I am slowly learning but am way off from being competent enough to think I have nailed it every time. I think that given practice with one strain, using clones, I would nail it but every grow I have run so far has been a different strain so, I am working on the theory that mostly cloudy trichs, a few amber and a few clear, with min 50% curling pistils, is good enough to start the flush so that's where we're at and so it is after that ramble that the flush began at end of week 8 of flower so I am anticipating harvest in about 10 days or so from now. I will report back a few days before the chop. That's almost 15 weeks from seed I guess? I will have to check back on my dates and posts A few pictures to accompany my post. They smell utterly amazing.

Day 10 from start of flush, and from my last update so I have skipped a week because, well, not a lot happened! Leaves are starting to turn, trichs - to my eye at least - look decent too. I have enjoyed this run and I shall be sad and pleased in equal measures to do the deed in a few days time. Certainly I can see these running a full 14 days of flush and the uptake has slowed in terms of watering - they're certainly nowhere near as thirsty as they were, for sure. The plan then... the plan indeed... what is the plan....? It's to monitor for the next few days. I am tempted to run the lights for 48 hours, then 24 darkness and chop just before the lighting timers would normally spring 'daylight' on the girls but I keep reading too many conflicting opinions on this so, I may do nothing and just chop on the day, before lights come on. All this broscience is confusing at times. Yes, I will do that and K.I.S.S because frankly, I am somewhat stupid and sucked in by all these 'tricks' sometimes, Pics added, as ever. A short-ish video too. Thanks as ever for reading and, please check back for the harvest 'week' in a few days.

All good really, just under 900g wet weight. I really don't understand why this is a metric that's even asked of - surely cured/dried weight is what matters because, I could weigh the plant as a whole (I didn't) or when wet trimmed and in separate branches (I did) so, the plants could have weight over 2KG if I wanted to. Strange but there you are. About 15 weeks in total - there or thereabouts. Pretty decent harvest all told but let's see once the dried weights are recorded. Thanks for reading! Update 17.05.2022 Dried weight, hard trimmed, is 305g. Pretty happy with that averaging at just over 100g per plant and just over 1g/W. I have added some trimmed and curing pictures. With the trim I made a THC/CBD oil and that seems to be quite nice - quite mellow in terms of efficacy.
