The buds seem to fatten up and grow a bit, not quite as fast as we were hoping for but should still be a fun harvest! Removed some leaves that where blocking the lower buds, and spread her out so she uses all the available space!

Leaves started drooping/curling down quite a bit all of a sudden any idea why? Haven't watered since the curling down started as I guessed over watered but it does not seem to make a difference. Some of the leaves are now pointing straight down hard to get a good picture of those

If you just transplanted, this is a symptom of transplant shock, it will come good in a day or three. Otherwise, 0.7 litres of water is barely enough for a plant this size, more liike 2-3 litres at a time. I hope you drilled holes in the bucket for drainage, otherwise this could also be a symptom of drowning. Take your pick of which answer suits what you have been doing! Cheers, Organoman.

How to make the top cola not block all the other budsites? I tried LST to pull her to the side a bit as you can see in my second picture of this week, but she's very determined to grow towards the middle.

@Bucket_Buds not too much you can do now its flowering without risking stress and slowing it down the plant will grow how IT wants to Next time you should train them earlier and perhaps use HST to bend the main cola's branch before flowering starts

My lower leaves started turning yellow and drying out, am I having nutrient deficiencies? My guess would be nitrogen or potassium but not sure, had some nutrient burning earlier so cut down on the feeding a bit.

Thanks for the extra info. given that she is an auto use the below link for a reference point on feed strengths. It is not 100% and if you plant is showing that it needs more or less adjust it. https://www.autoflower.net/forums/threads/med-man-method-feeding-chart-ppm-ec.47856/ And EC of .9 is end of veg transition into flower. you could try and bump that up to 1.0ec but just watch it. not all auto like heavy feedings. so next up is the NPK ratio of what your feeding with. as long as its moderate in P and K it should be good but zero N is bad. lower amounts is ideal. something like 2-4-5 is nice. Good Luck!

nice diary and nice grow

So does this grow takes place inside a “bucket” or some type of canister lined with Mylar?

@Bucket_Buds,yeah I’d love to see more pics of your set up! Have you growin in the bucket before or is this the first time?
Bucket_Buds
Bucket_Buds
@2highforu, The first 3 weeks it was 4 buckets stacked together and lined with aluminium foil (total cost 12 euros (all I had to buy was buckets, already had a 100w led)) after that two trash cans stacked on top of each other lined with Mylar (emergency blanket). I'll add some photos of the old and new bucket setup!

Nice setup pics, I can’t wait to see how this works out for you! Have you had any issues with ventilation or heat build up?
Bucket_Buds
Bucket_Buds
@2highforu, No issues at all with heat/ventilation, the fan is only at 50% speed or so gets all the leaves moving slightly. The temp inside the bucket never exceeded 25'C in a 23'C room (the heater is on to keep her nice and warm at night so she stays extra bushy

Wow, I have never seen something like this before. I LOVE the ingenuity you see from people I truly believe all levels of growers have something new to offer and learn from if we all stay open-minded and humble, I come from the completely other ends of the spectrum you can see my diary of a 200 light 7,000 plant setup. But I truly appreciate these small fascinating grows that people can design and come up with I truly believe it is a talent all of its own. Congratulations on doing something so cool. Would you be alright with me offering you advice to help out? Of course I do not know about growing in a bucket, You will know more about that than I do. But I would love to offer you some general advice you may be able to take advantage of or utilize. Before I say anything I will begin by saying I understand you will be limited with your setup but I shall begin regardless. Cannabis plants love heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it, In veg and in early flower wen can exploit this for more vigorous growth and get through the slow growth stage of seedling and early plant life quicker. Temps of 79-84 MAX are great for this and we want no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. If we allow for too much fluctuation with lights off we stretch our plants a lot unwantedly. Your temp gaps are nice and tight that is good work, I would only recommend warming up the lights on and off temps ever so slightly. If you want to see how much degrees matter, Check out VPD. Vapor pressure deficit and how it relates to growing cannabis, All growers should learn this and use a VPD chart daily to log their room numbers. We can utilize humidity at this early stage of plant life & through the first few weeks of veg to build up more healthy vigorous plants, Faster. Supplemental intake from the leafs will really help speed us along, Humidity of 60-70% is great for this. Once we get into flower and our plants have finished their vertical growth by weeks 4-6 of flower with photoperiods with autoflowers we watch for it by eye. Once this happens the plant's responses to environmental stresses has changed. Now it won't want to stretch, It will instead send extra energy into the budding process and resin production. So once we notice our ladies have finished growing upwards we want to slowly begin to widen the gap in temps between lights on and lights off to beyond 10 degrees less and a little more each passing week until harvest. This helps us trigger the plants genetic responses to want to insure its reproduction by building nice big flowers to make its seeds in or getting really sticky to attract pollen well. Even though we are not trying to make seeds, The genetic responses are what we want to trigger to get our plants to finish up the way we want them to. Doing light deprivation in the last 2 weeks, Colder feed temps in the last week will really help you accomplish this as well. If you do not have them already get yourself a thermal laser temp gun like the fluke 62 MAX & a PAR meter to better help you read your plants and grow to their needs. I could see it being even more needed with your style of setup. They help you grow to your plants needs more and dial in your light to plant distance optimally without issue. Again man, Congratulations on doing something so cool! If you ever have any questions please feel free to ask I am always here to help. Like I said earlier check out my diaries to see what I mean about the difference in size, Shoot me a follow & I will do the same back. I am also doing a youtube tutorial series for all levels of growers. If that interests you hop over and subscribe it is linked off my grow diaries profile. Happy growing friend!

Great work! I’ve enjoyed watching your grow progress. I’ve also always been interested in the the space bucket, I have a couple questions how did you like it? Did you find it easier or harder than a regular grow tent? Are you going to use it again? Do you think it is worth the time/money? And how did you decide when to harvest, was it based on the look of the trichomes (mostly cloudy it looked like), the amount of time in flower, or was it something else?

@2highforu, Hey man thanks for the interest! I never grew in a tent or bucket before as this is my very first grow, I'd say a tent is probably easier as it gives more space. Then why go with a bucket? I wanted something I could move with relative ease, as I still use the shower in that bathroom and put the whole bucket in my living room during that time. I plan on starting a new grow in it in about a week. Is a bucket worth the money, yeah for sure I spent roughly 80 euros including the lights and got 50grams on my first grow. I harvested when the trichomes where cloudy, as its a pretty strong haze that sort of felt right based on what info i could gather. Still debating whether to go for North Thunderfuck automatic or Purple Queen Automatic
