I'm going to officially call this week one, the size difference is due to them being sprouted about 4 or 5 days apart. Nutrients will start gradually once everyone has a couple nodes.
So I have 4 here, gonna treat them well and see what they want to give me in return.
So this is my second grow, I really love this new light. I'm giving them about 35k lux right now and will be slowly moving that up to about 55k lux at flower. The age difference between them is a bit irritating at this point but I'm just going to go to flower when I have some good coverage.
Girls are doing well, ill be on these nutrients at these levels until the first week of flower now.
My oldest one is done with training now, just gonna let her bulk up for 12/12 switch, hopefully she doesn't get out of control.
She has 16 potential bud sites now but I may take 4 for clones
#1 is doing great through training, all have been topped for the last time and will have atleast a couple weeks to build a nice full canopy before switch. #4 had a very interesting occurrence, a node popped with 4 fan leaves and 4 growth tips instead of the typical 2. So I topped them above that node because it was symmetrical with the other branch
This week #1 really bulked up, becoming a nice bush. So is #3. #2 would be there as well but I snapped off the top node being careless. Also took 2 clones off #1, if these root they will be the first clones I've ever done.
The girls are looking great on their last week of veg, gonna give me a nice canopy to fill up most of this tent.
I'm leaving those 4 branches on #1 as backup clones incase the ones I have don't work out.
I've done my final work on them(topping, defoliation, removing new growth tips) The most ill do to them is a little LST to keep the canopy even.
Im giving them a week to recoup then we go to flower.
I was only able to take clones off of #1 so I'm really hoping she is the best phenotype out of the bunch.
First week transition into flower went well, can see a few white hairs. I did some defoliation to let light through and lollipopped 2 of them just playing around.
Week 2 of flower, lots of good bud sites and canopy is forming nicely. Week 3 I may take off any bud sites that will be in the shadows but nothing for now.
Everything is going well, stacking on some flowers, #1 is looking great, so is #3.
Just watering about every 2 days or so, a 1/4 gal each of nutrient water. Feeding every time.
Flowers are coming on really well, smell is coming in stronger as well. Kind of a sweet cheesy smell.
#1 looks like its gonna be my best phenotype at this point, its superior in looks, node spacing, smell and is also developing some purples
Overall I'm pretty happy with how this grow is going, spring is starting up so conditions are not ideal and its very humid here but I'm able to keep it under control so far.
Week 5 is going awesome, really getting a nice cheesy lemony smells, tons of tricromes, more purpling, some orange hairs curling in and noticeable swelling of buds.
#1 is really bringing in the purple tones now, the smell is unbelievable, very strong and potent.
They are all getting really nice orange hairs that contrast well with the light green crystal coated buds.
Very potent sweet pungent smell with gassy and cheesy notes occasionally. I was able to pull over a pound off of them (wet) ilp update later when they are dry and in curing jars
***update***
Just got them dry and in jars. Im using amber ball jars, I like the added UV protection. I also have a 62% humidity pack in each jar and small humidistats.
Here are the dry weights
#1 - 31.5g
#2 - 26g
#3 - 33.5g
#4 - 17g
Popcorn - 17.5g
Total - 125.5g
I'll be back in about 8 weeks to leave an end of cure/smoke review and to recheck those weights
Thanks for looking
