AZMamaBear It’s been rainy and cold this week. It’s supposed to warm up in the next couple of days and I think by March 1st, we can say goodbye to 40 degree nighttime temps and hello spring temps. She’s been inside during her first week of life, but today I put her outside to soak up the rays. Will keep her inside at night until it’s a bit warmer than move her to the more powerful lights in my shed,

AZMamaBear Added a paperclip to help keep her standing up straight. It's warming up in Phoenix, so I've moved her outside during the day, while bringing her inside at night. Hit the hydro store and picked up some Fishsh!t and Recharge. Added that, worm castings and some Down to Earth dry amendments to brew up a compost tea. Gave her a big sip on 3/4

AZMamaBear For my watering this week I used silica and FishSh!t. Silica brand is Alchemist Stout MSA – Monosilic acid. This helps strengthen stems and protect against heat stress. She’ll need all the protection she can get for my Arizona outdoor grow this summer. Really shot up this week. Was going to transplant her now, but I think I'll wait one more week.

AZMamaBear Was planning to repot at the start of the week, but her stem is a little weak. Gonna give her another week. "Spring" is in full swing. Temps this week in the 80's all week. Gave all the girls FishSh!t/Recharge on March 14th. Still taking them inside the shed at night to get their 18 hours of sunlight.

AZMamaBear 3/24 - I went out to a meeting and when I came to check up on my girls this one seemed shorter than when I left and the top where I watered this morning wasn't damp. Turns out hubby accidentally knocked her over and when he repotted her, buried her deeper than she was. Poor baby - she's been the runt of the litter and now this. Here's hoping she recovers. Will probably need to wait awhile before I top her. Spring equinox week. Daytime highs 74-89. Nighttime lows 51-59. Top dressed some worm castings and watered with Fishsh!t on 3/19 and again on 3/24 with some Recharge added to the brew.

AZMamaBear My last girl to be harvested. Now for wash, dry and cure.

AZMamaBear Harvested her 274 days - 40 weeks - from germination. 2/19/22 - 11/20/22. Hubby knocked her out of her pot in week 5 when he was doing some work outside, so we thought she was a goner. Being the strong girl she was, she recovered - although she didn't get quite as big as some of her sisters. Due to the accident, I topped her 3 times - for 8 mainlines (most of the other girls were topped 4 times - and had 32 branches.) As she entered the flowering stage, I put 2 weeks in each week of the diary since GD only allows 30 weeks. Since she was an outdoor girl, I gave her a bath before drying her. We had a big piece of heavy duty nylon (I think) netting, so we strung it up outside and put her there to dry. We call it our weed hammock.
