Welcome to my diary on the lemon og candy!
I didn't document the first few weeks, she grows very 'standard', all stats are average, the growth rather vigorous but not crazy.
She has been topped and lower branches removed, bent open to limit the stretch and hopefully get a nice canopy of buds.
Never grew this strain before but heard a lot of good about her! "Good phenotypes" are supposed to have a lemon candy terp, however if I somehow get the kpt crypt OG terp in there I am more than happy, after all I like the gas and if there's no gass then it's a pass :D
minor defoliation and LST. Internode distance is rather short and not that much stretch so she ended up being a bushy plant (doesn't remind too much of amnesia haze or super lemon haze yet... but looks good :D)
lack of N and lack of PK --> Should have put more biotabs in the soil! :D
Anyway I feed water with:
- plagron alga bloom + orgatrex + bactrex
And top dress with:
- silicium flash + malted barley powder + worm castings + epsom salts.
buds swelling, light hints of lemon skunk smell, with the lemon smell being pretty fresh/acid so not very sweet.
By the way the other small plants in the tent are getting ready for this outdoor season, on our small balcony!
Amoungst others there is:
- thai siam basil
- dark opal basil
- alpine strawberries
- thyme
- pepper mint
- apple mint
- cucumelon (cucumber melon)
- cherry tomatoes (green grape and clementine varietes)
- chocolate habanero pepper (obviously my hopes are high for this one...:D)
Buds are getting dense, nice and hard balls :D nice herby smells coming in the background. Reminds a bit of well cured 'punch through the baggie' amnesia haze/ super silver haze smell, with some lemon skunk and hints of OG in the background, I hope the smells get much stronger though.
I think this weekend (f57) I will give the last pk compost tea, at a light dosage, and then let her finish ripening.
Planning to harvest around f74 (but of course only if she is ripe).
Buds are nice and hard :D
