A few cuts were taken from the mother in the last picture during flowering and were placed in 2" Rockwool cubes dipped in Rx Green LIFE Cloning Gel in a plastic tray with a strainer like spacer to have a gap between the bottom of the rockwool and liquid. I unfortunately haven't been able to spend money on a cloning machine so my method was clandestine but has worked before with many. This girl was very hard to clone partially because of revegging it. If you cloned in veg then you may have more success.
I don't have any hydro set up so I placed the rooted clone into a solo cup with Coco coir and Pro Mix. I made a cross with the mother with a Berry Freak F2 x (Duckweb IBL x Huckleberry Soda) from Annunaki Genetics that I plan to cross back to this clone as well as Berry Freak F2.
She's starting to show some growth! I plan to leave her in the solo cup for a while to get a sufficient root structure formed. I'm posting these last two weeks now but I'm actually on week 3-4 but just last night decided to make a diary {it's been almost a year, not really sure why I stopped): }. This has been almost the most interesting grow I've ever done and something I've wanted to do since high school.
This week it was time to transplant! I forgot to take a picture after I was finished though, oops. I used Pro Mix in the blue bags from Menards as my main substrate eyeball mixed at 60% peat 40% coco coir with some added worm castings, blood meal, bone meal and some added perlite. I soaked my block of coco coir from my local grow shop with ph adjusted water (5.8) mixed with calcium/magnesium that has a little iron also. Everything went just as planned!
My puppy knocked over the bunny cage and both proceeded to open the door to the little veg area I set up in a closet where she was placed after transplanting. Thankfully the whole entire plant wasn't destroyed and there's a good chance of her making a full recovery, it will just take time. I could potentially get another clone from the top that is pictured in a little cup with water, which was left laying next to the plant. I've seen my dog take bites of others before and drop some like what I saw here and I caught the bunny in it when I found it. But I still have a positive outlook and won't be throwing in the towel any time soon!
