Soaked and toweled 5 seeds. 5 seeds came up in 2 days. There was a considerable amount of growth by the end of the week.
Both parents are pictured for reference and comparison throughout the next 3 months.
There's no way of telling but it looks like there is a male in that batch. I'm happy with the growth over the last week. I'm extremely happy about the consistent results of The Roots organic products.
I saw a lot of nice growth this week. There is a lot of the widow showing in structure so far.
No added nutes at this point. Roots organic original seems to take care of all the needs.
This week showed lots of growth. The light was switched to 12/12 a week ago. I expect the coming week to reveal males and females.
They really look like the White Widow more than sherbet creamsicle at this point.
Nutrients were added this week as well. 2 tbs per gal of soil of bio live.
The male is dropping pollen. I'll harvest it next week. The two females are doing well. One is a fast grower and much larger than the other. The internode spacing is much tighter on the smaller of the two.
Out of the 5 seeds 3 were male. I picked the male I wanted and harvested pollen. Out of the 2 females one is short and smells just like sherbet creamsicle. The other is tall and smells like freshly peeled oranges. The male looks like the tall Orange smelling pheno. Both are pollinated. The short sherbet creamsicle seeds will be used 2 back cross into sherbet creamsicle. The tall orange smelling seeds will be used to make orange widow.
Both phenos look fantastic. This has been a really fun project. I'm excited to taste these. These plants are loud. When I open the tent the smell blasts me in the face.
Its getting close. The flowers are really starting to swell. I'm very happy with this cross. I will most definitely be doing a pheno hunt on the sherbet creamsicle x white widow line.
It looks like it should be done by the end of the week. I'm really looking forward to tasting this one. It smells so good. Like freshly peeled orange mixed with pine.
