GdRuss So, after some very frustrating issues with DWC (algae, brown sludge on roots, total nightmare!) I decided to clean and transplant these Silver Haze kiddos in to some dirt instead.
I’m hoping all the friendly bacteria, microbes etc. in the compost will give these plants a better start in life 😇
The plants already had some really great root growth from their hydro buckets, and I was surprised to see how quickly they bounced back after the transplant!
Within a few hours they were strong and full of life. Very impressed, they look much happier now, I will keep you posted on their progress 🤙🏼

GdRuss After a week of these being in their new home, they have really shot up!
One of the plants, the one who had the most problems with the algae in the DWC bucket, does seem to be struggling a bit. My normal feeding program does not seem to be agreeing with it, and I’m wondering if the roots are ok.
I do know however that the yellowing leaves are the oldest ones on there, and they were already damaged when in the DWC bucket. So I’m not stressing yet, it’s growing fast, and it seems healthy enough for now 😊
So yellowing tips on leaves is normally Nitrogen or Potassium deficiency (with red spots for example), yet my nutes should contain more than enough of both, using SenseGrow AB & B-52 for example at 2ml a liter for each. I will remain on this feeding program and see what the new growth is like over the next week or so, and will prune the old damaged material away.
The other plant is doing really great! It’s super healthy, great color, no deficiencies what so ever. Transplant was a total success.
**UPDATE**
Decided to top both plants today too 😎💪🏼

GdRuss Decided to push one of the plants to flower since it was growing a lot faster than it’s brother.
Gave it a good trim to expose all the other bud sights (previously hidden away by larger leaves), Lets see how quickly this recovers and starts to bud 😎💪🏼

GdRuss It’s been 6 days since switching to 12/12, hairs are now starting to appear on the bud sites and on the nodes, and the plant is looking nice and healthy.
First time using Bud Igniter by Advanced Nutrients, so curious to see how fast these buds get going.
GdRuss Buds are really starting to form now, nodes are connecting, very fast growth. I recently added some additional bloom lights from secret jardin, 2 x 26w LED.
