•The Super Lemon and West Coast OG seedlings were the biggest and stronger looking of the 4 seeds germed so I transplanted those into RDWC and the others into 5gal fabric pots filled with FFOF mix of soil etc.
•The system has ~11-12 gal of tap water (PPM ~100) + nutrient mix @ ~50% strength
•Hand top feeding 2-3 times a day.
•Still no roots after a few days and plants are starting to look like they are going to die.
•Decided to increase PPM 350-400 towards end of week.
•Finally seeing white, thick roots shooting out of the net pots and water level is ~1” below.
•Now only hand top feeding once a day and will probably stop on Monday, but plants do not look happy and are stunted compared to my soil grow. The PH is good and the the PPM has been decreasing slowly so they’re feeding and PH rises slowly as well. I don’t know what’s going on because the root zone looks good, but the plants are not growing and look bad. They don’t look burnt - maybe an N deficiency?
