Update: Took less than 3 days for all 3 seeds to pop. They’re all looking good, standing tall. Couple shells stuck to cotyledon leaves. I’m just going to leave them there. In the past my OCD has wanted them off and I’ve F’d up the leaf. I’m going to leave them covered with the cups until tomorrow, hopefully true leaves will be starting then. I got an email from FastBuds and it showed their suggested feed schedule so I’ll try that and see how they like it. Hi Growers. The sponsored FastBuds Auto seeds have arrived!!!! I decided to run the Pineapple Express and the Blue Dream. According to the grow info on the website they seemed to be in the same size and duration range. It should also give me a wider variety of effect as well. I planted 3 seeds of each strain directly in 3 gal fabric pots of new Sunshine #4 mix and lightly watered with RO water. They’ll be lit by a Spider Farmer SF4000 which is on 24 hrs at the moment at 30% around 30 inches high. I have enjoyed the FastBuds seeds I’ve grown before and was very happy to receive this sponsorship. It was very kind. Thank you. I have always wanted to grow the Pineapple Express and am glad to have this opportunity. 👍🏻👍🏻 Anything with Blueberry genetics has always been good for my GI disorder and Blue Dream specifically has always worked well for that. My wife finds it’s great for her PTSD and anxiety too. I’ll be happy to have a bunch of bud from these two around fairly soon. Happy Growing 🌱

Hi Growers. So all 3 FastBuds Blue Dream Auto seeds popped in less than 3 days. I’ve left them uncovered, added a humidifier and turned a fan on low to just to give them a little wiggle. They were sprayed and lightly watered in a 4” circle around the stalks to have those roots go search for water. One of the seeds hulls is still stuck to the cotyledon leaves. I’ve been spraying it to keep the membrane moist and hopefully she’ll split it open by herself. In the past when I’ve tried to remove them they cause damage to the leaves so we’ll wait and see. Just gonna give them some time and mist for a week and start super low feeding according to the FastBuds auto feed schedule. I’m looking forward to seeing these babies grow!!! Happy Growing 🌱

Hi Growers. These little plants have been cruising along just fine. The whole week they have just been sprayed with ph RO water with a touch of cal pow. Yesterday I noticed they were a bit lighter in color and using peat based medium with zero nutrients I decided to feed according to the FastBuds suggested 1/8 strength. It still ended up being around 225 ppm. I also raised the light 3” as I noticed the serrated leaf edge starting to point straight up. That SF4000 is a beast against tiny plants even at 30%. I’ve got the environment at approx 77 & 60% with a oscillating fan and humidifier running. I finally was able to remove that shell helmet off the middle plant. Once I did she immediately took off. I just sprayed and saturated the membrane and ultra gently manipulated it til one cotyledon popped out and left it alone. The hull fell off the other side by itself. All in all they’re looking happy and are doing what they should be. 🤞👍🏻🌱 Happy Growing 🌱

Hi Growers. Everything is going well. Earlier this week I did another super light feeding, the same as last week. I raised the light to 50” and increased the light to 80% and will adjust accordingly per plant and environmental needs. I did notice a bit of yellowing on the PE and yesterday decided to do a stronger feed and go from there, but no problems with the Blue Dream. I don’t want them starving and getting stressed into flower. After the first light feeds they popped up nicely so I’m interested to see how they like the higher feed. Environment wise, I turned on the oscillating fan to just help them strengthen their stocks and branches and still have the humidifier on. Temps & RH are good, no hot temp is a bit cool but it’s only 4 hrs. What week do you growers start training autos?? Thanks for stopping, leave a like or comment if you’d like. I appreciate them. Happy Growing 🌱

Hey growers. This week I decided to water with a heavier ppm as the plants didn’t seem too happy. They were showing some yellowing on the lower leaf tips. Guess I was right bc they exploded up to about 12” +-. Then I decided to top and LST the main stem. Today I just adjusted the ties, removed 1-2 leaves from each plant depending if there was any in the mud or not. Yesterday I watered with 525 ppm, but unfortunately the water was a bit on the cold side and they’re having trouble soaking it up. I have since created a rez in my grow room just to hold RO water at approx 70 degrees. So that problem should be rectified. I think I’m right on the cusp of preflower as I’ve seen one or 2 pistils. Regardless they’re doing their thing and I’m trying to do as little as possible to keep them vegging as long as possible and end up beastly!!! Happy Growing 🌱

Day 1 flower Hey growers. So these was a couple preflowers the other day and today there are more clusters on the buds so we’ll call this day 1 flower. I watered with 500 ppm feed. They’re looking really good. Removed the large fans and anything touching the dirt and tiny bud sites from the bottom branches. Did some LST and super cropping to even out the canopy and within 2 hours they were all standing back up. I haven’t decided what to do yet, I have a Scrog net I could use, tomato cages or just let them be. I have some time to figure it out. They’re looking great, I hope they can fill up the tent with beastly buds. Happy Growing 🤞🌱👍🏻

Flower day 7ish Hey Growers I did a minor defoliation to remove the beastly fan leaves and the ones in the mud. I also did a bit more LST to even the canopy as much as possible. As it seems, I have no more control haha. One or 2 plants have stretched more than I’d have like but the entire canopy is pretty even. The SF4000 is about 8” off the top of the tent at 78%. They start to droop for end of day about 3 hours before lights out, I was concerned something was wrong as I’ve never really seen drooping that much in healthy plants. Just gonna keep cruising along and hopefully things will be good in the end. I’ll keep my eyes open for any problems. Happy Growing 🌱👍🏻

Day 14 flower Hey Growers So day 14 of flower, I decided to defoliate as the tent was getting so overgrown. They are drying out quickly and the media is dense with roots. They are going to require daily watering very shortly. They seem quite happy and doing well. You can see in one of the pictures, the leaf edge is raised, which idk exactly what that is. I’ve decreased the light to 70% until I know how they’ll react. Other than that just put in the trellis to support the tops. Happy Growing 🌱

Day 49 These beauties continued to stretch after the defoliation. Stretch is done and the buds are getting bigger. I’ve secured some of the branches to the trellis to create more space between them. Everything is going fine. Not much to comment on. Happy Growing 🌱

Hello Growers. This has essentially come on badly over the last day. 2 days ago I had 2 mm of “tip burn” and now this. I’m using cal mag, Epsom, base nute and a bloom booster so. Idk why leaf stems are purple too. I don’t get what I’m consistently doing wrong. Thanks.

tips curled up = too hot , colours look like lockout form either ph issues or over feeding , is your water Hard?

Calmag and Epsom have magnesium in them. I wouldn't use both... Just one or the other. What pH are you watering at?

If you are already using cal-mag and adding epsom, I'd lean towards either ph lockout or a potential MAG excess which can cause calcium lockout. It definitely looks like a calcium def, but if you are giving it cal-mag then something is stopping it from getting the calcium you are providing.

Day 56 These girls are all flowering well. There is a leaf condition which I think is cal mag deficiency. Thanks to everyone who answered my question. I did a flush of plain water with double the cal mag and Epsom. The main stem is purpling as well 🤦‍♂️🏻So hopefully this helps. Other than that, I’m just on cruise hoping this doesn’t go to shit. Happy Growing 🤞🏻🌱

Day 63 I will be starting to flush the plants. They received their last feeding last week and now I’ll just water with plain cal mag water and maybe some Rezin until the trichomes are ready. The smell comes and goes depending on how wet the media is. When it’s wet the smell is uncontrollable sweet, berries and a pineapple tang. It’s excellent. I think I cause a bit of a lockout by over feeding. I did a bit of a flush and they have chunked up a bit in the last couple days and are looking a bit happier. Hopefully using the Gaia Green next round will alleviate this problem some. Otherwise I’m pretty much just on cruise control trying to make it to the end without any more problems. Happy 420 & Happy Growing 🌱👍🏻

Day 63 Well there’s not much going on. Just watering when dry. They seem to be doing better, but unfortunately the damage was done with the lockout. They are fattening up a bit more and putting on some density. I can tell by the fact that they’re leaning more. This is a 10 wk strain, but I’m gonna push it a bit longer til the trichomes are in a better range. They have a sweet blueberry smell which is quite nice. Not the frostiest buds ever, but we’ll see how it shakes out. We’re just on autopilot til the end. Probably a week or 2 more and they’ll be ready to come down. Happy Growing 🌱

Day 70 Well things have really turned around this last week. The buds are hard. They have gotten significantly firmer since flushing. Flushed with Typhoon Cleanse. The smell is a potent blueberry sweet aroma. It and the others are too much for my old carbon filter to handle. I have another ordered. So now I’m just watering when dry til the trichomes are ready and watching the colors change!!! Too bad the leaves were damaged by the lockout. Happy Growing 🌱👍🏻

Day 84: Well after flushing down to 50 ppm the Blue Dream is done. They’re sitting in the dark cool tent for a couple days. They smell so much. Intense blueberry, sweetness. They faded out quite nicely. Unfortunately the upper fans were ruined by lockout. I will be happy to get these jarred up to keep the smell locked down. My carbon filter can’t keep up. There will be more to come in the harvest entry. Happy Growing 🌱
