For this round I chose new Delicious Cookies from Delicious Seeds, I have a few experiences with this seedbank and I have to say they have really uniform and stabil genetics in them offer if I compare with other front breeders I had a chance to try.
DC is polyhybrid from Girl Scout Cookies, Wedding Cake, 707 Headband and Death Star and I’m really curious how these ladies will turn out.
I have to mention this sample is from January 2021, so the seeds are more than a year old.
It’s 48h from planting straight to pellets(I don’t like transplanting and touching seeds) soaked in RO water with pH 6, kept in dark place with stabil 25*C temperature.
In this grow I would like to show my way of effective growth-best ration of time/costs/yield
Day 3-Peat pellets are my fastest method for germination, no soaking, no touching seeds, fertilizers free environment and 3rd day are all 4 out growing well.
Day 4- Pellets transplanted straight to final plastic bags with 20L Atami Bi Grow Mix, light fertilized 60/40 soil/coco mix.
Plants moved to 100x100cm tent, light set on 75W 75cm above canopy.
150W light could sounds weak on 100x100cm tent, but in my opinion the easiest(and cheapiest) way how to increase yield (and get from 150W light maximum) is to increase grow space+ I have space for fans and better air circulation.
For fertilizing I will use whole Biobizz range+mycorrhiza. I am used to use only basic additives from biobizz- grow, bloom, calmag, pH regulators, but this round I will try to use all they offer and see what happens 🙂
We are going to 2nd week, plants grow quite slower I would like, so I boosted the light on 40% on Day 7, lets see tomorrow if some progress is visible 🤞
Day 9- boosted light helps, growth speed up 🙂
Day 11- growing well
Day 15- plants grow perfectly, you can see some brown spots on leaves but it is from the heater cable, I had to move it from the floor because of high soil temperature (25C+)
I detected Sciara fly, so I decided to add to the pots 5cm on perlite as a protection, I have never tried this method, any experiences? 🙂
Light set to 50% 60cm above canopy, it keeps plants low and support side branching nicely
