Let's see how this PG compares to my previous one

So far so good.

Last PG was topped at forth node, for this one I topped at the 5th node but I removed the first node branches. Because it's a fast growing strain I'm hoping to keep it more even. So far no training because she's very bendy and it will be easy to deal with. Will do some LST the coming week.

I decided to do a very extensive defoliation which I have not done for a while she is growing fast and I'm hoping to keep her more under control than the last one. I will do another heavy defoliation next week.

Seems to be proceeding on track, a lot less bushy than my previous PG, I'm expecting another 10 inches over the next two week. It turned out that I ended up doing continuous defoliation the past week, I have only done mild pruning though, will probably wait till the end of week 5 before I revisit the pruning situation.

I thought I'd wait a week after the last defoliation but it turns out that I've been defoliating quite severely every day I'm always taking leaves off. She is growing larger than I thought but similar to the last one of these, if she is anything like the last one she has another 6 inches to grow and won't be putting on any bulk for another 4 weeks. Sometime next week I'll probably go in and do a final pruning of some of the branches. It's going to get pretty crowded in the centre.

I ended up defoliating heavily every day, continuously taking bunches of leaves off as I know this one is going to get very leafy and prone to mould as she is a slow developer then yesterday I did a massive leaf removal and took off all of even the large fan leaves. She's looking pretty and pretty ready to do something. Might have to do a bit more thinning but she should start to bulk up now over the next few weeks.

I cannot believe the quantity of leave this strain produces. No sign of stacked calyxes like last one. This is also a bit smaller.

Heavy continuous defoliation, weather has been very hot and humid, growing in 85RH, not ideal but they smell delightful. Prolly another 3 or 4 wks now. giving her about 1500oom of 1:2:2

No much more to say, slowing beginning to finish, but 2 or three weeks left, but more likely two as I'm inclined to chop early. We shall see.

Found a bit of bud rot on one of the top colas, that's off now, still looking ok, if a bit ratty. Hopefully will try to keep this up for another week or so.

Kept taking down branches and slowly trimming throughout the week, checking for bud rot, I found a couple of small problems but overall seems to be fine. Didn't get a chance to weigh her wet, but there looks to be a fair amount of weed, maybe 10 zips. Should be able to get some good rosin off the weedier stuff. She is very different from my previous purple gorilla both in form and in terpenes, that I remember anyway. Will get harvest report up next week.
