Oh and of u have alook online, theres a rough formula for working out coco feeds/runoff amounts ,
makes it abit easier ππ ...
But kinda,
we'll work on a 20l for maths sake π ,
if u have a 20l pot filled with coco,
when completly saturated, 100% whatever water u put in should run off ,
if its completly dry , it will take roughly 20 litres of water before anything will run off , so completly dry 21 litres and u will have 1 litre run off ,
and the % just varies with how dry the coco is ,
so if its 50% dried out , 12 litres of water = 2 litres run off ,
Now coco also holds air well , so it can be high % saturated and still hold air , but give or take ,
if its permantly 90% saturated then air is low,
if u are regualarly replacing air and nutes thru feeds then ur delicatly balancing the enviroment ππ , coco seems more like a nutrient film technique in this way than anything else,
I also broscience kinda think, coco is delicate to enviroment+temps+humidity, in that if its warm, windy +low humidity, it dries super quick,
if its cold, no air+high humidty, it almost stays perpetually wet, kinda,
now heres the fun bit, that humidity doesnt have nutes, so if the coco is taking in fresh water from humidty (too an extent) its slightly flushing itself and it seems to be at top of pots , so becarefull of thinking its still moist all the time ππ , and because with coco u feed nutes , till u flush, its taking in abit of humidity water always ,
i pay attention to what i think is the blend between the top+bottom+sides ,
sides salty, bottom moist till halfway, top dryish looking but moist,
thats fully in the zone there ππ and ready for a feed ,
i personally think with fabric+coco+run off+drain every feed that salt builds from the sides first, which helps roots and which a good mid cycle flush or a few drenches sorts out.
Now how to drain, coco/pot size proportion i think is the key , , see 25 litre pot
even half dry there still litres of water in there losing oxygen ,
fabric + trays drain really well , and fabric doesnt really for a loooong time rootbind, like the roots keep growing out and out more and not around and around as soon as they touch sides, ( official description ππ )
mine pretty much grow same size in 5l,10l,20l ,
5l when and there raging, dry out just a touch too quick π§βοΈ ,
20,s took too long in between feeds to dry.
ya need run off,
but ya need it to drain ,
i drain so there not sitting in water after a feed i use a wetvac , then i let the plant use up some water or evaporate ,
in 10s i might get 1.5 or 2.5 litres run off each feed , prob once a week i dont feed for a day or two or 3 ππ ,
then its back in with the nutes/ water 1 or 2 twice aday , if im pushing them 3 ππ ,it seems to make the time go quick, lol always punching nutes in
But theres always a new way and im still searching brah ππ
Lol ohhh i bet they were begging for it πππ§βοΈ ,
Why ya moving/leaving one longer? , i dig when one is abit quicker, i leave them all till the last one is fully ready, lets the earlyish ones go all super sayian mode , it truly opened my eyes leaving some a few more wks, some not so much
Peep out their true final form push till 10wks on nutes then flush especially coming into cooler mths π , there autos yeah so i dunno maybe helps yeild awell
Lol a colourful super saiyan final form beckons you here ππ
Brah check the led quantum boards on alibaba,
easter spechh surely be around 250 delivered π, not those blurple coloured ones,
get a meijiu one , 3500k 240w + dimmer
They run cool as and stealth as , bright as fuk tho
Close to room tempreture temps and 1cm thick π ....
In all fairness grab 2 , and use one for clones ππ
