So this is a little Experiment, probably way to many plants for my small tent, but we will see.
Already had a problem to get all 9 Fabric Pots into the tent (Grownest 8L). My calculations were that 19x19cm pots should fit easy into a 60x60 Tent.
What i didn't think about was that the tent measurements are probably outside measurements, and the inside is a bit smaller (with the tent polls and everything) and that the fabric pots are not stable and bulge out a lot in comparison to plastic ones when you put soil into them, also the are equally wide at the bottom and the top. So I really had to cramp them in there ;)
I also have a 9th Strain: Zamnesia Seeds - Girl Scout Cookies Auto
After 60 hours in water, every seed showed a little tap root, so i put them into the soil and after 3 more days all 9 Ladies were born.
The Amnesia was the slowest one, but eventually popped up, but after a few days still did not open her cotyledons . So I put another Amnesia seed in the container (without putting it into water first).
Let's see what happens!
So the first week started well as I said, all came out, Amnesia did not make it but the second seed popped quick as well, so she will be just a few days behind.
Girl Scout Cookies had a Problem as well. The stem was so week, I could not keep her upright, her stem had absolutely no strain to it. So I buried her up to her neck. I did not think she would make, It so a couple days later I out another freebie seed next to her - also from Zamnesia -Lemon Wonder Auto.
Well as you can see GSC survived and now I have ten plants :)
Most of them look really good, but the Purplematic CPD looks a little strange.
But other than that everything looks good so far.
Only gave them water with a little bit of Alfa Boost. With the soul mix I will not feed at all. After about 3 Weeks I wlll put a Bio Tab in every water and just water.
Most of the plants almost doubled in Size this week. They are looking great.
Only the Purplematic CBD looks weirder every day. I'm thinking genetic defect. But so far I will let her live since I'm very curious.
So that is why GSC and Lemon Wonder have to share one pot still. We will see what will happen with that
Ladies are growing really fast. Everything is looking good. Only the Purplematic still looks crazy. After 20 days i decided to cull her. I would have loved to see what would have happened. But since I had 2 Plants in one put, I got rid of her and transplanted the Lemon Wonder into her put so that GSC also has enough space to grow.
And a day later the 6 tall ladies got one Bio Tab each into their pots. The other 3 will get theirs in a few days.
The ladies are really thriving, I will need to get in there soon and do some thinning and lollipoping!
DAY26: the plants are huge almost 50cm tall after not even 4 weeks. They love the Bio Tabs.
Today thinning an lolipopping. There were some leafs bigger than my hand, and 30cm side shoots already reaching the top of the canopy as well.
Only the 3 small ones are not monsters like that, because the grow in the shades of the huge ones. But they each also got their Bio Tab today. I also hung the light higher.
Also hung the LED higher.
DAY 28. Everthing looks super, some of the Ladies are starting their preflower!
The Ladies are growing so fast and too high already.
I really think the mephisto method, with the 2 soils (allmix and lightmix from biobizz) and the biotab and just water, works really great.
I hung my light up again, now I can't go any higher, so I hope the ladies stop stretching!
Also had to defoliate and lollipop again.
Now flower really started!
Day 38: I had to change something, the tallest plant (Santa Marta Haze) was only ten cm away from the light. so I decided to put a net in, and supercrop them hard, so that I would have an even canopy aprrox 25cm away from the light.
Day 42: everything looks good, and the plants could handle the rough supercropping. Canopy looks ok, Only the GSC is little bit too short still and therefore does not get all the light she needs. Other than that I'm pretty happy!
Day 45: Finally figured out, that I should place the one small Lady (GSC) on a pedestal. Should have thought of that a couple weeks ago ;) Also had to bend a couple of tops more. Now the canopy is nice and even and I hope it is smooth sailing from here on out.
Day 49: Everything looks good. From time to time I plug or tuck a few leaves, but that is about it, besides giving them 500ml each 2 times a week.
I was gone for 10 days and a friend watered my ladies. Everything looks OK so far. Should not take much longer and I will starting harvesting the first ones. Probably a couple of weeks. Some Sativas might take a little longer tough!
At the beginning of the week I found many leaves with spots on them. I think I might have had some mites. I removed almost all of the leaves and sprayed the ladies twice with CannaCure.
Now everthing looks ok again at it should be only a few days until the first ones will come down. Checking trichomes everyday.
Santa Marta Haze looked really nice from the beginning. After a couple of weeks it was one of the largest plants in the SOG. I had to supercrop her really hard, really broke the stam (not on purpose) but nevertheless she developted one of the biggest colas in the tent. In flower she turned dark purple, really nice phenotype.
The plant grew well. but did not have dense buds, it looked more like an old Sativa landrace, nevertheless the turn is great and the yield was also really good. Since I use a Volcano, it is no problem that the buds are more loose, I also might use it for edibles
