brutalsbong_ilbomba Third week completed. The goal of keeping it as low as possible, for space reasons, has been achieved. I raised the lamp by 5 cm for the next weeks. I hydrated twice, the second time with just water. I'll do the same in the fourth week.

brutalsbong_ilbomba Preflowering has started. I removed four large leaves from the main stem. I've watered twice. I included this week as the flowering phase since I treated the plant as if it were in flowering, but in reality, we are at the end of the pre-flowering stage.

brutalsbong_ilbomba At the end of the fifth week. I've removed another couple of leaves. I've watered three times this week, for a total of 3 liters of water with nutrients. 15 minutes of suction every 30 and an active internal fan during the light period. I'm happy with how the work is going.

brutalsbong_ilbomba I'm continuing this week to remove a few pairs of leaves, watering 3 times a week. I'm struggling to keep humidity above 40% during the daytime. Very happy with the results anyway.

brutalsbong_ilbomba Everything is going as expected, humidity and temperature remain constant, the soil tends to dry out very quickly because I believe the roots have taken up most of the available space. Some leaves at the base of the stem, in the shade, are turning slightly yellow and I remove the most damaged ones. The aromas are starting to be persistent and pleasant.

brutalsbong_ilbomba The buds are starting to significantly increase in volume, the smell is intense but, for now, it doesn't remind me of a "candy store" as described by the producer, but it's still pleasant. Some leaves are turning yellow, probably due to nitrogen deficiency, and the roots have now taken up all the soil which tends to dry out very quickly (7 L pot).

brutalsbong_ilbomba We're almost at the end of this grow. The aromas are interesting and pleasant, but they remind me less and less of something that resembles a candy/sweet. I'm stressing the plant in terms of water until it wilts, and then I wash the roots with plenty of pure water. I'm also continuing to remove leaves to focus the growth on the tops, which keep getting bigger.

La mia prima coltivazione indoor! Ho cercato di intervenire il meno possibile sulla pianta a livello pratico, difatti ho notato una grossa differenza di maturazione delle cime dall'alto verso il basso. Seppur l'apicale offre grosse soddisfazioni a livello estetico in futuro optero' per topping e scrog. In generale mi sono divertito, la pianta è sempre stata molto profumata, ricca di resina e con interessanti colori. Né durante la coltivazione ne' dopo averla raccolta ho notato aromi e profumi che riconducono ad un "negozio di caramelle"; è dolce sicuramente ma non in modo esagerato. Fumandola con vaporizzatore impostato a 180° ho sentito soprattutto un sapore simile all'anice, credo debba maturare ancora notevolmente (mi ha incollato al divano). Le cime secche hanno meno sfumature cromatiche che quelle fresche...un arcobaleno con pochi colori. Ho pulito le cime dopo l'essicazione, da fresche ho fatto una veloce pulizia sommaria; successivamente ho diviso le cime più grosse da quelle piccole. Con gli scarti del trim e un po' di piccole cime ho fatto un pochino di hashish da battitura e con lo stesso materiale realizzero' del burro. Dopo la pulizia finale ho ulteriormente separato le cime più belle da quelle meno. Alla prossima!

brutalsbong_ilbomba I definitely made some mistakes and overlooked some aspects/details, but I believe I put in passion and had fun. I love experimenting, and in case I make mistakes, I adjust my choices based on the results. I can't wait to be at this point in the next grow.
