I have lightly increased the nutes to a full dose of nutes and she seemed to have taken it well but a faint burnt tips, almost too tiny too notice: I am at least glad I have finally witnessed a fulll feeding on her without her getting stressed out. happy she recovered a long way from her first few weeks.
The mite issue seems to be in check. nothing but the casual white mite having a stroll through the topsoil and absolutely nothing on the roos/stems/leaves/buds.
The canopy is being maintained as well as I can, but of course she could use 30cm either way around her to let that light shine at all the bud sights.
The buds are packing weight: slowly they are getting fatter and perkier.
witnessing the various stages of growth in this entire 4x4 grow tent, I will focus on less plants ( 2 max in 5gal pots) or will plant 5 in 3 gallon pots, next time.
why all this? I am noticing it is become counterproductive having the tent literally so densely packed with 4 gorgeous plants. This Gorilla Glue s not showing her full potential, allowing for extra space and some LST I could give the small buds in the centre the chance to bulk like the main rim colas.
My fear was to not being able to fill the whole canopy and I not only achieved it, but it soon got out of control. The beautiful genetics from barney s farm are certainly a powerhouse in consistency and size (4 different ones in one tent, and all well above the average auto size you get researching and browsing out there).
Will certainly either upgrade to a 12x8 or plant 1 or maximum 2 phenos per tent so to get the most out of them.
Such I shame seeing so many underdeveloped popcorn buds to be just beneath the canopy that will never fully develop.
@whenindoubtsmokeitout, looks like you got 3 to 4 weeks for sure left from pictures. Go off buds. Very light nitrogen in flowering, more potassium and phosphorus is what gives you buds. Your plant is showing potassium deficiency in leaf tips. Brown and straight is sign. If curls up it is nutrition burn.
@Roberts, thank you! I am mostly concerned about 2 points:
- I am beginning to noticing amber trichomes on the very edges of the smaller sugar leaves (previous damage related decaying?...). The trichomes on the flowers themselves are still mostly clear with few cloudy. As this is my very first take on growing, what rule of thumb should I be following so to harvest (and time my flush) at the right time?
- DO one start flushing upon noticing the right amount of cloudy/amber trichomes ratio, or does one needs to time the flushing so to achieve the wanted results by the end of week 2 of flushing?
@whenindoubtsmokeitout, thanks. I have grown 2 of those strains. Smell should be coming soon. I try to be informative, and basically try to answer any questions prior being asked. I appreciate the support.
