BA-BAM!!!
Just like that, back at it again!π
I have to say, I'm a little excited to start this grow! Reason: Got a new light for the room which I want to thank @ViparspectraEmily for everything she did! Thank you!!!π
Also wanna give a shout out to @expertseedbank for the seeds! Yeah Baby!π
Let's get started...
Sanding: So, not sure how many does it this way... I seem to get great results by giving the seeds a very light sanding... helps weaken the shell so it can absorb more water and help with the germination process.π
Soaking: I never fully germinated with just a glass of water... I like to give them a good soak then off to either coffee filters or paper towel.
Paper Towel: I usually go for the coffee filters... not something so coarse as paper towel. Since I don't have any filters at this moment, I split the paper towel in two... takes some of the coarseness away.
Solo Cup: I find it's the best method for me not to over water them at the start.π
Environment: 3'x5' room with diamond-cut mylar all over, Oscillating Fan with 3 speeds, Humidifier with 2 settings.
Light: Viparspectra P2000, uses only 200w and equals a 500w HPS... correct me if I am wrong!π It also has a dimmer switch... Sweet!
Soil: Kryptonite Organic Soil... Just add water! I have to be honest... it is the only way I grew so far and I have to say it works pretty good!π
As the week comes to an end, the girls are doing good. They are above the soil saying "Hello!"
I have the light about 20" away from them, and so far they are loving it.π
Temps are around 22C with the humidity around 55% which I would like a bit higher... I do give them a misting twice a day, and a dribble of water!
And that's it!!!
Happy Germinating!πππ
Looking nice my friend! I have one girl of the same strain ready to harvest in just a few days, she smells really nice. Can't wait to try it. Best wishes for your grow πͺ
