Day 6 after I put the seed between to cotton pads on a plate sealed with plastic to keep the humidity up.
Transfered to a rockwoll, set in mini green house.

- 23 celsius
- 6,2 ph
- No nutritions added, not sure if that is correct ?
DAY 9:
- removed the mini green house, lowered the light to 30-40cm, increased light.
- 40% humidity
- 23 celsius
- 6,2 PH
- EC 0,3
- Sprayet 2ml/liter Rhizotonic + Canna Aqua
...a bit frustrated that there is no "greeen" yet, just a "seed on top"
DAY 8:
* Seed has 6-7 mm long tale.
* Transfered day 8 to rockwool, soaked in ph 6.0, only water
* Seed + rockwool is now in min green house 88% humidity.
* Sprayed with Canna Rhizotonic (2ml/liter)
Q: When do I give Canna Aqua A+B nutritions?
I'm new to rockwool. but I feel I would have soaked it in a super light feed as it has nothing in it. like 100ppm or lower.

Day 10 after the seed was first started. Not sure when to start counting for just yet.

Moved the plant over to a 20l bucket.
- EC 0.5
- PH 5.5 - 7,2 - this a problem as it keep rising to 7+ 6-12 hours after I take it down again.
- Humidity 50%
- 23 celcius
I had the light 30cm full blast over the plant and I think it's a bit light burn now (see picture). I'm not sure.
Another problem is that i can not seem to make the PH stable. I might buy a RO water filter soon as I have read Alkalinity in the water might be a problem when it comes to PH keep rising. Any tips are of course more than welcome :)

I use tap water (soft water), Canna Vega A/B and related products, with rockwool.
PH is stable around 7.2 - 7.5. I PH down to 5,5 and 6-12 hours later its back up. This is my second rund and had the same problem then.
Could reverse osmosis water help this, or other advices?
I also use tap water, when you PH it its best to let it sit overnight or aerate it. this will help even out the ph range and keep it more stable.
for my tap water I need to add in 9 drops of phosphoric acid and bubble for 2hrs to get to stable to 6.7.
if I do not bubble/aerate it. 4 drops gets me down to 6.5 but it does not stay there for long.
Every city/towns tap water will be slightly different got to experiment whats best for you.
Also RO water would take the waiting time out of it. its just a lot of extra money if you don't have a system installed yet.

Replaced the water and all nutrients 1 week after last change. The PH was slowly rising from 5,5 (day 1 of the week) to 6,8 (day 7 of the week). But the EC was stable at 0.7 all week so I assume it was a good feed/correct amount of nutrients.

Weak smell started this week. This was a good week.
Lessions learned (for a new grower like myself) this week
* RO water really helps on keeping the PH stable. Specially if you tap water has to much Alkalinity in it. My tap water is totally fine to drink (everybody does), but not so good for hydro.
* Increase humidity and heat some

Another great week, more or less no work at all. Just having peak once a day that PH/EC/Temp/Humidity is ok - which it has been all week.
The PH is slightly rising over the days, but that is ok and normal - it's quit a slow raise.
I have never grown anything in in soil (that lived trough a life cycle) or DWS. Just killed my lettuce yesterady in soil, probably to much water. So far I find DWS easier and with more control (but probably harder initially) - BUT, I am no master in DWS by far - this is all with the help of you guys - and special thanks to LegacyMarketFarm and m0use.

Will probably replace the water and nutriens this week. I just love RO water - so easy with PH compared to my tap water (which everybody drinks in my country and is great water). I have almost 1,5 liter of PH down now which will probably take me 10 years with RO water to be used up.

Still great stability with PH after changed to RO water.
Now the last few days some leafs have yellow spots - might be due to calcium deficiency so added 5ml of Cal-Mag today.
Besides that - it's been good.

Changed water/nutrition. After a few days I saw a burned tip on some of the leafs. A few hours later some yellow spots on some leafs started to show.
Added 4 ml cal-mag + ph up from 5,9 to 6,2 for cal-mag to be absorbed better. Hope that will solve/stop it.

Seems like EC should be around 0.8 - 1.0 at this stage for this autoflower at this stage to avoid under/overfeeding
* Added a dehumidifier and the humidity went down from around 60% to 50%.
* Strong signs of cal-mag issues from earlier, the buds seem ok
Now the question is - when to harvest. Never done it before.
they are looking much better now and growing faster now that's great, If we warm the room up slightly and increase humidity we can get them going real good. Great work staying at it and not giving up I knew you could do it. GREAT work & be proud of yourself for that.
Hey there friend, Congratulations on getting into growing cannabis and giving it another try. One quick note based off your information, Cannabis plants love heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it, Early on when the plants are small humidity in the air will really help the growth happen faster as the tiny roots get help by supplemental intake from the leafs. We can use up to 70% humidity for the first couple of weeks of veg and help our plants along nicely. Also temps of 79-84 MAX with lights on and no more than 9 degrees less will ensure healthy rapid growth. Keep up the great work if you should have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me!
