Im happy with the progress on this plant. So far going as planned. Did some first defoliation as it was getting too bushy. Stretch should be around the corner hopefully.
Gave its first heavy defoliation as shes going into flower. Pistils everywhere now and hopefully stretch soon. Change to bloom today along with HumicK.
Gave another defoliation today she is so bushy. Im still waiting on that stretch to come shes abit slow in progress. Everything seems fine and healthy.
I’m not understanding this plant. I dont even know if this is it’s stretch or not. Its week 8 it should be budding by now. I dont think im doing anything wrong, didn’t stress it at all, no topping etc and its damn healthy. Seems like it just wants to keep growing on veg imo. Had to defoliate again cos its too bushy covering every corner every bud sites.
Wasn’t much of a stretch but its there, not sure if its over yet but foliage is definitely growing fast had to defoliate again. I’ve increased ppm as she is getting very hungry in the past week. I actually increased ppm twice in the past week cos ph keeps rising but now its stable at 6.2. I would imagine i will be increasing ppm again soon when budlets start to bulk.
Figured this is a slow flowering pheno as many has said. Nothing wrong with plant all healthy. Starting to show bit of potash deficiency so upped k45 slightly. Still ik bud development stage hoping it will cruise by faster once buds has developed.
Not sure why leaves are turning yellowish especially bottom ones. At first I thought was lights as usual but bottom leaves are far apart and not as yellowish as top ones. Confuse. Just want it to bulk more and give me good harvest.
Something went horribly wrong in the past week. She yellowed and dried up as if ive flushed her already. It happened in the last moment of bulking so it screwed it all up. Only thing i changed was bloom, guess im not using that anymore. Going back to what I usually use. I only started flush today and already its purpling. Damn.
I did a bit of digging because some of my plants have done the same thing. They started to yellow and dry out a bit before they were ready.
I've come to the conclusion that it's a mineral deficiency, specifcially sulpher and magnesium, which plants seem to need alot of during flower.
I used some epsom salts (magnesium sulfate), just a pinch/liter( all natural, unscented) and it seemed to help. I used a little during Veg. just on water days and a little more during flower, just on water days, but not every time you water. Just my thoughts, hope this helps you out a bit👊👊..

@northernMike, that is my thinking too. I did give extra minerals along the way but didn’t seem to do anything on mine. Im so sure its deficiency. thanks ill keep that in mind on next grow
