First, want to give a shout out to Heather @Fast_Buds ... Thank you! I'm glad I have a little bit more knowledge on growing... These Autos will be fun!
I'm very excited to see all the purple from these girls... oooohhhh... ahhhhhhh!😂
Let's get started...
Sanding: Since I haven't grew autos in awhile, and with all the excitement, I skipped this step.😂
Soaking: I never fully germinated with just a glass of water... I like to give them a good soak then off to either coffee filters or paper towel.
Paper Towel: I usually go for the coffee filters... not something so coarse as paper towel. Since I don't have any filters at this moment, I split the paper towel in two... takes some of the coarseness away.
Solo Cup: It's my jam!.😅
Environment: 3'x5' room with diamond-cut mylar all over, Oscillating Fan with 3 speeds, Humidifier with 2 settings.
Light: Viparspectra P2000, uses only 200w and equals a 500w HPS... correct me if I am wrong!😁 It also has a dimmer switch... Sweet!
Soil: Kryptonite Organic Soil... Just add water! I have to be honest... it is the only way I grew so far and I have to say it works pretty good!👍
I have the light about 24" away from them.
Temps are around 24C with the humidity around 55% which I would like a bit higher... They are under a make-shift dome, so I'm not concerned about the humidity as of yet.

Purple Punch Auto are taking off! Both girls seem to be growing at the same rate... which is nice since they're Auto's.
The temps have been decent around 25C - 26C... maybe a touch high due to the higher humidity... which is around 65%. Doesn't seem to bother PPA's... they might actually like it better.😁
Not much watering on the go... 30ml every two days.
I have the light going between 75% and 100% brightness throughout the day... so far, the girls are lovin' it! I'm keeping it around 24 inches from the top.
So, not really anything else going on... I'll end it on that note!

The Next Week! 😝
PPA's are quite the girls... I give them a little bit of water, a little bit of light, a few songs😂, and BAM! They decided to get bigger... must be the songs!😲
Temps: Still around 26C
Humidity: Dropped around 60%... since the girls are getting bigger, I can start lowering that down into the 40's
Water: Still not very much, but double from last week... 60ml
Light is still at 75%... seems to be the sweet spot early on
Not sure if I'm going to try and top an auto... tried and failed before, but did some more research and I might do one and compare with the other in the end... wait and see I guess.😀

Forever home week!👊
Looks like PPA's want to be transplanted this week! Their leaves are touching the edges, and I always intend to wait a bit longer... never happens though. The roots are white, just not abundant. Their new home is a 3 gallon fabric pot which I like to water from the bottom up... hopefully it works well with these ladies!😁
Temps: Staying in the 26C range.
Humidity: Still in the 60%'s
Water: 500ml on transplant then 1L a couple of days later.
Light: Rockin' the ViparSpectra P2000
Was wanting to top, but I think I'll do some low stress training for the first round of autos. I'll probably do some defoliation as well. At least this way I'll learn a thing or two before beating them up!😂

Week before flower!😲
What a difference a week makes. The girls went from transplant to pre-flower in a week...
First time I grew autos, didn't have a fucking clue what I was doing... this time around, I was thinking I had five weeks, so I would transplant on the 4th and get a good week of recovery in, then BAM.... technically, this is the 5th week, last time i grew them, germination was count as week 1... silly fucking rabbit!!!
Anyways... I'll chalk that one up as a Master of Autos!😂
The pictures are from the last two days of the week, and they grew more then expected... I guess transplanting didn't shock them like it did to my Lemon AK!👈
I decided to LST #1... she was the tallest of the two. I don't think I'll do much more than what is done... might do a defoliation on both... maybe. #2 I left alone and she is growing great... 9" tall
I only have the light set at 75%, now that they are already flowering, I'll be jackin that up to 100%! 😱

The girls are growing good. Gained about 3 inches this week. Having some issues, but I don't think it's deficiencies...
I think it could be from when I gave some of the leaves a spray for those nasty little bastards...😡 or maybe some pH fluctuating/lockout due to extra watering on transplant. Whatever it is, I already set them back some. 👈
I also don't have the girls under the light in the sweet spot... they are on the outside. I might change that up with the other girls hogging all the light!😁

Week 2 of Flower!😎
As I mentioned in the Lemon AK diary... I suck at growing Autos!😳 I see hydro autos, DWC Autos, Soil with added food Autos, and they all look great. Not so much this way. 👈 My photoperiods are doing fine and I usually have good outcomes with them, just can't seem to get going on the Autos.
I'm pretty sure I fucked up and used the wrong soil... I'll quote myself from my other diary: ".... I usually give two runs with the organic soil with adding amendments between runs. I didn't have the soil 100% yet. I do know that 4 inches on the bottom is new soil... on the transplant, got to high I guess...😂😅 I'll water from the bottom for a bit... that should drive the roots down into the good stuff..."
So here we are...
The girls drank 3 Litres this week... down a litre from last week... I'll try and give them a dry out period and see if that helps... if not, I'll have to give them some food!😲

Purple Punch, Purple Punch... how I failed thee...
These poor girls are struggling hard. Their leaves are getting a little crispy, a lot of spacing between nodes... and they are not even that tall!😳 They have been drinking fine... 4 Litres this week... just not up taking the right nutes.
I think next week, I'll give them a dry out period... maybe the whole week... I don't think I can screw them up any more than I did.😂

Well, these poor plants... somebody should come and take them away from me... pretty sure it's plant abuse!😂 Right now, they're pretty much in the same boat as last week except the girls didn't get any water this week. It's taking extra long to dry out, so I know they are not really drinking and a very strong possibility there is a nute lock out.
I thought the 4 litres last week would have been a good enough flush, but maybe not... I should have really poured the water on and then deal with the organics washing away, just thought I could flush and keep as much as I could of the good soil in the bottom of the pot... Nope! that didn't work!😮
I raised both girls up higher and now have a small fan blowing directly on the fabric pots... Hopefully that will help so I can try and salvage something... I would love to have a nice yield, but now I have to try for quality over quantity!😁
Might have to change things up next week if there is no progress. Until then, keep your stick on the ice!😂

So, this week is the same as last week... no new growth, no new death, just stalemate...
Purple Punch did drink 1 Litre of water this week... which is a great sign that she is not completely dead...😂
I can't do any sort of defoliation or training besides a little LST. PPA doesn't have enough arms or fan leaves, so all I'm going to do from here on out is water... or not water!👈

It seems like I'm putting up the same pics week after week....😵 Both girls haven't changed size or appearance in a while... but they actually drank 2 Litres of water this week... which is good news that their not ready to die yet! 😂
I'll scope them for next weeks update to see how the trichomes are progressing.
Purple Punch Auto might have got dealt the wrong hand and they never had a chance to get huge, but the buds that are there are quite solid. 💪
Maybe next week might be the week the girls are hung out to harvest!

Once again, not much to update on. The girls are still in the same shape as last week... alive but not growing!😂 I did use the scope on them and of course I forgot to take pics... the trichomes are still showing a lot of clear, so I guess at least another week of this torture.
PPA did drink 3 Litres of water each this week... I also added Blackstrap Molasses at a ratio of 2TBSP (30ml) to 1 gallon (4L). Next week, I'll probably not water them and hope that helps them to finish up.
Let's hope next week is the week... these poor girls need to be done!😳

This week, I didn't forget the trichome pics... and that's the most exciting part about the whole week! 😂 Both girls are pretty much the same, no change except for the start of fox tail. Both of them are still not ready to be harvest! There are a few amber trichomes, but I would like to see a bit more...
There's not much to the girls, so I'm hoping I get a nice tasty gram or two... 😁 I think by next week, both girls will be hanging upside down and then we can move on to the next stage after drying.... the cure!👈

Harvest WEEK!😜
I'm not sure who wanted this to come faster.... me or those poor girls. I think I heard a sigh when I finally chopped them.😂
Through out the diary, you probably seen or read my beautiful mistakes.... but I promise I learned from them... 'Use brand new organic soil and not your own inexperience shitty soil' 😂😅😳
With the soil I tried to use, I should have properly tested the used soil and seen what it needed.... not just mix in some amendments without the proper ratio...
I also had the girls on the very outside of the light footprint. Wasn't expecting the other strains to blow up as much as they did.
As you can see in the pics, there is some decent amber going on but a few areas down below just has a lot of clear and cloudy trichomes.
There wasn't much to trim... and do they ever look funny naked...😂 I might have spent an hour in total... Trim-photoshoot-cleanup
For now, I am using the homemade dry box until a room becomes available... looking for an 8 to 10 day dry...
Now, the girls I have may not have any yield at all, but I have to say the smell and the tightness... makes me excited for the 1/2 oz I might get...😂
I'll be back with a smoke review in a few weeks... and I'll savor every inhale like I have none left.... which I don't...😂😅😭
