So... 3G and Critical sprouted, it's been almost a week since I started them out.
Those Hogs are almost decade old, so it's reasonable that they might not work
out. I ordered Humboldt Seed Company's Forbidden Dreams, I'm gonna replace
the Hogs with them, once I get them, assuming that they won't wake up until
they arrive. I also put some random seeds on soak, but I think they're not gonna
be in this either. It was just another precaution, before I got an idea to order those
seeds.
Those FDs are also 40% Sativas, so they should
forgive the delay, with later vigorous growth. The seeds that sprouted, are one
year olds. This is side project, hopefully my final on in this old tent. Hogs will be
replaced, once replacers are in the works. Also, it's hard to pick just one germination
method, since I usually start with glass of water, then put them in peat pellet, and then
the pellet goes into rockwool cube. And, this time, due environmental factors, I used small
plastic jar and paper towels. Glass of water is more reliable waker though, imo..
Cubes were soaked in a mixture of MLH Photosynthesis Plus, and 5,8 pH balanced water.
Covers will be needed later on, when I give them nutrients. They were in photos, but I decided
not to use them, since the backgrounds of growing environment were visible. You'll see them
once we got 4 plants up and running.. :)
Also, T.H. Seeds is a good company. The seeds I tried to wake up, have been exposed to various
temperatures and other environmental factors. And they were very old. I considered first purchasing
new ones, but exotics got me. Maybe in future grows! I might edit this later on, on monday or something,
and add some more photos.
Last Forbidden Dream has germinated, so I discarded
a mystery seed I germinated as a backup. Things seems
to be good now. It's not visible yet, since I took it off
from germination bottle.
Soaking in a water bottle, for 24 hours, and
then a wet paper towel in a spice jar seems to do the trick.
I was skeptical of it at first, but I think I'm gonna do that
always in the future.
We're bit late from the schedule, but it's alright. This
grow is gonna need some special tricks at the mid-point.
Last FD should be visible within a couple of days.
Some of them are growing faster than anticipated,
but I'm happy that they're all finally growing,
without worries. Gotta good feeling about this.
I fed them yesterday with a mixture which had
2.3 EC. Little bit under a liter.
Should've taken more photos, maybe next
week. Those pictures show significant growth
though, it's probably because of the Exhale
CO2 bag near them. 😎

Temperatures are approximations.
It was getting really crowded in pre-grow spot,
so I decided to take my old tent in use again,
instead of waiting for that new one to become
available. I think it was a good decision overall.
There will be new modifications to the cover,
I already cut the opening lines into it, but a
proper closure for it is still waiting itself.
Basically I cut four lines in it, so I can plant
or take away mature plants, without ruining
the whole setup, or without causing new plants
extra stress by ramming them through the narrow
squares.
It will be nice... :)
4th week. My upgrades to the cover has been
completed. Those cuttings in four corner are
made, and velcros are stapled and there's foil
tape on top of the black sides. Which has also
been stapled, since the glue wasn't very strong,
neither it was in the velcro hook pieces.
Plants took a bit bending and whatnot in the
process, which I did twice. Finished it a couple
of hours ago, just in time when the lights went
back on. Plants are fine and finally establishing
themselves to the more powerful lights. Growth
will be fast from now on. Just waiting for the tent
upgrade, but that can wait.
I positioned them on purpose like how they are,
since in last growth bottom left was a 'weak' spot,
and bottom right was a strong spot. Let's see how
they go from there.
Aggressive growth. My old magnetic ballast were nearing
it's lifecycle. I think it's like 8 years old or something. Current
socket (where the wires goes) was also burning slowly, maybe
it was just poor connection or something.
I was planning on changing it, but then the lights shut off
on power cycle, so next in the morning I went to get a new
ballast. Also digital, instead being those 12 lbs / 6 kilo magnetic
ones. No heat, no banding, quiet and efficient.
Just my wallet also lighter this month.
They really went somewhere in four, five days,
these gotta be flipped soon, or they will over-
grow, again. :D Late update, happy late 420!
Nothing has been done to the plants, I was
away for a couple of days. Tank was almost
empty, and fan made some cuts to the FD.
I'll let them go crazy.. 😎

No defoliation, no trimming, no training,
just f#ck my sh!t up. 😆 (it's a test)
Bigger tent comes, before this is finished,
hopefully branches grow strong and yield
decently. I'm also using 13 hour schedule
for a month, with this grow. My old trick.
This is the first week, long one.
3G got burned by the light, which is still
MH. I'll change it once lights goes off,
today. Diary date got fixed too, no more
Sunday updates. It's kinda hard to take
proper photos again. Hopefully tent up-
grade compensates it.
New tent is coming, finally. Those tops will soon get some
sunshine, and I might actually get some decent shots from
these plants. Editing is nightmare atm, those highlights
burn so hard, even though I'm taking RAW photos.
Did a little defoliation, added water and whatnot.
Final Grows went in too.
It's a quite jungle, but I like it wild. New tent is postponed to
next week, I really need it though, those plants would appreciate
getting their artificial sun dose, instead tryingto push through
the roof.
Tried another way to take photos, but until we get
more room, they're gonna be whatever.. Light schedule is still
13 hours, I should probably change it to 12 soon, though target
is still one month and then reduction to 12 h. Nothing got topped
this time, maybe I should've, but the new tent will bring some workaround
room. I'm still trying to understand the plant behavior and their limits.
Finally, a tent upgrade! Now we got plenty of space, although plants,
I think, have stopped the worst stretching. It took a while, to change
them in new environment, and roots got damaged a bit, also a lot of
bottom branches got f'd up, so I cut them. They're a bit rustled now.
I can walk inside the tent
now, and all places are accessible. One meter flipping rule will still stick,
in the future. We'll see how they cope with the upgraded environment.
It's a rare tent, all sizes of it are sold out in Europe, possibly beyond.
I used to have the same model in the past, but will smaller specs.
Superbox Evolution, with 40 cm extension piece on the top. With led,
we're gonna reach the skies! But everything in time... 😏
Also last week of flowering with 13 hours, from now on,
it's back to normal 12 hours.
Alright, this became semi-disaster. That tent switch root mutilation really took on
the plants. Temps raised many degrees too, and their cool pool turned into 24 Celsius
hot pot. I hope they still keep swelling, even a little bit. The only one which is still decent
and healthy is bottom right Forbidden Dream. It's likely gonna be my only yielder in this project.
Notes for myself, leave the roots be from now on, and rather don't grow, if the transfers
are necessary. I already thought about discarding this whole project, but I think it's gonna
become something. Also need more fans. Hopefully I'm gonna be able to switch into a led
after this, this shit is unacceptable. This is like a walk of shame lol. Also need a water cooler...
Fan died out (again), seems that I have to put them on timer cycles once I get more
of them. Photosynthesis ran out too. They seem to fatten up a bit, regardless of burned
leaves. EC is bit too high, it's been close to 3.7, I put more water there to down it near 3.
It's weird that FDs aren't maturing yet. I also really need a water chiller, since the tent is
now bigger, air circulation does not cool the pool anymore, they're over 23 Celsius at worst.
I just want to get over with this grow lol...
I made a new a new color profile for the photos, it's much more clear,
and looks like they're under the LED sun! Also, those forbidden dreams
are budding up very nicely, at this rate they're gonna be my batch savers.
Triple Gs took a lot of damage in the roots and it's pretty clearly visible.
Crit is still budding up, regardless of its rude looks. Those branches are
bending big time lol. Pool temps are pretty high, it seems that it stores
more heat than there is in the surroundings. I found a page which sells
the water cooler I had before, I'm gonna order it in near future, at latest
before the next project / batch.
Photosynthesis Plus is back. Plants are being fed with 3.4 EC soup.
I've mostly added more water, and Silicon MAX, and re-initial dose
of 3,1 ml / liter - that smelly liquid, Photosynthesis Plus. It re-estab-
lishes artificial bacterial thingie, various mycos etc.
I've tried all of them, Forbidden Dream being most extreme of
them all, it's also least mature of them. Crit is fine, 3G is the 'worst'
of them, or maybe I'm just getting used to it.
Another spray of Jaakontaika photosynthesis accelerant mixture.
And touch of Bloom. Burnouts on bottom left are 3G, bottom
right is FD, top left is another FD, and top right is CRit.
I'm gonna put these down at Sunday,
time sensitive things. Next batch can
be prepared faster too then. It's alright
all in all, except those two mutated things,
Critical and Triple G. There's Seeds in FD.
