Stinkfox I started these seeds by soaking them in Oregon’s Only Bigfoot root stimulator. I have turned friends onto this product, and they all swear by it. I’ve named them based on order of appearance from the soil. Ferrigno, Bana, and Ruffalo. I’ll be keeping the most vigorous to be a mother.

Stinkfox Two weeks down. I transplanted on Wednesday. In a couple weeks I’ll let do it again. Transplanting slowed them down, and Ferrigno was the most shocked. I used a heating mat afterward.

Stinkfox They all three really filled out this week. Bana is the fattest. I’ll be defoliating and flipping to flower sometime soon. I took clone cuttings from each today. No nutes this week. They do well with light feeding. Next watering will see nutes again. Smells skunky in veg. No good for stealth growing. Thank goodness for carbon filters.

Stinkfox Four weeks of flower down. Ferrigno is the tallest. The other two are shorter. They’re all frosty as all get out! So much time left. I’m glad I kept a cutting of Ferrigno. Temps might get hot, but my new air unit should be here next week. My lights are off from 1pm to 1am, so this keeps the lights out during the hottest parts of the day. I’m really glad I set it up that way. I originally did it just because I had more lights than before.

Stinkfox Still putting on the frost. The 2 shorter girls are getting orange pistils and look like they’ll mature faster. Ferrigno’s buds are less mature, but bigger! I love everything about these plants. I’ll give a better report on the smell when my cold goes away. I can tell they’re very strong, but I can’t pick out individual scents.

Stinkfox I’ve been dealing with high temperatures in the tent. Some leaves have gotten a little crispy. Outside temperatures have finally decided to cooperate, since I’ve been without air conditioning for the last month of summer. Buds are fattening up. Ferrigno is almost done. I’ll chop at day 63, most likely. The two shorter sisters will go 10 weeks.

Stinkfox Well, Ferrigno hermied on me. One of the top colas threw a banana, that began to blossom. I gave her the chop at day 69. I’d been planning on 70. Sadly, this was the same plant I had taken as a mother. So I’ve put in an order for RQS HulkBerry, and I’ll give that a try. The other two are not showing any signs of male flowers. Bana will be ready at day 77. Ruffalo will be a 12 week harvest.

Stinkfox Last week for both. I’ll be splitting stems, watering with ice water, keeping them in the dark. All those things that may or may not increase resin production. The Ferrigno is very powerful. I can’t imagine what the remaining two will be like, taking two extra weeks to mature.

Happy Harvest Day!

These buds were huge. Harvested Ferrigno at 70 days of flower. The other two at 84. They were all very relaxing, with a decent body buzz. They were very visually stimulating, but not a super energetic sativa. More of the uplifting, creative kind. The taste and smell are incredible. After 3 weeks of curing, the smell of berry hits you in the face upon opening the jar. It tastes like strawberry and...well...kush.

Stinkfox This was a fantastic strain. I wish I hadn’t lost a bunch of harvest pics with my other phone. Oh well. Even though the Ferrigno hermied on me in the last week, it was likely due to heat stress, while my AC was out. I have a clone of her in week 9 of flower, and no problems. Going to take it a week earlier this time. I’ll grow this one again. I haven’t had a Seedsman strain that turned out badly.

You grow some nice buds bro , I notice you get a little crispy , I used to be similar until I went to DWC , might be worth a try if you are ready ?

@BigDaddyK, i do want to give that a try. I never had the crispy problem until my air conditioning unit went out a couple months ago. Hopefully getting the new one put in tomorrow.

Congrats dude and great weigh! 👌😎Smoke report as well as the knowledge on seedsman is good intel. Got a couple of their beans and been thinking about it🤔. What ya got up next?
Stinkfox
Stinkfoxcommented6y ago
@TheBudWhisperer, I love variety. Before I could grow so many plants, I’d get bored with the same 4 strains for 4 months. Especially if one didn’t turn out as expected. I don’t have to hit the dispensary and pay for any variety now. 😂

TheBudWhisperercommented6y ago
@Stinkfox, excellent - they're now offering up the GelatOG as a bonus with the Jack Herer. Loved Jack the last time I grew it and the Gelat would be interesting too if I didn't already have a bunch of kush on the line already. Good luck with it dude! Sounds like the wife has a good eye😉. Mine does partake so half the time I got no choice but to agree on what she'd like😂 - all good, variety is the spice of life after all!
Stinkfox
Stinkfoxcommented6y ago
@TheBudWhisperer, The Jack was a bonus seed. The others I picked out. I enlisted the help of my non-smoking wife to choose. She picked happy and relaxed, and the SBG for its interesting terp profile. 😆

Thats weird, we must lst/defoliate and take pictures in similar ways. My plants at 5/6 weeks look identical to yours. Canopies are getting ridiculously spread out now and im a bit more liberal with removing leaves
LumberjackBuds
LumberjackBudscommented7y ago
@Stinkfox, cool thanks. Will keep that in mind
Stinkfox
Stinkfoxcommented7y ago
@LumberjackBuds, I remove all fan leaves but the two at the top of each cola. Flip to flower. In week 3 I go through and do it again. At least that’s what I do with photoperiods. Autos I do one leaf per day, until I’ve got it about where I want it. I try not to stress them, lest they stunt or hermaphrodite.
LumberjackBuds
LumberjackBudscommented7y ago
@Stinkfox, You remove all leaves over bud sites, and leaves not in direct light too? I do both.

Wow my RQS banner3 stretched from 13” to 48” as of today (day 30) at day 21 she was only 39” I didn’t expect her to grow another 9”. I hope you have high ceilings. 13 to 48 : 15 to 55? :ok_woman:‍️
Tazard
Tazardcommented7y ago
@Stinkfox, my tent is 80” nute tank is 8” with a 64” plant and the led on top of the ceiling bars I have like 6” from light to plant. Under the HPS strapped to the ceiling bars a 40” tall plant has 24” from light to plant. Fortunately since she is a fairly low yielder I put her under the LED’s. I never expected a 65% sativa to veg so fast or to stretch so much.
Stinkfox
Stinkfoxcommented7y ago
@Tazard, Lol. Thankfully, ceilings are not much of a concern. I’ve got 80 inches to work with.
