@@Teh_Saccade,it's been a long time since I did this In the ground outside (usually done it in the glasshouse in pots) , I'm enjoying it so far, being all cloak and dagger in the undergrowth is fun

@@Teh_Saccade,yeah its a tad unusual for this part of the world, barely no rain for a month or so, I've even had to carry water to bed then in, this is unheard of for me but I guess it goes with the territory 😁

@Gorillagardener,Nice :D The CBD mix I've started will be about a month behind, however the cycle sheet says that they prefer October. Hope you can keep to the schedule, and that the weather is good!

@Gorillagardener, The wind is a little too much to be going outside here atm... I've had a few bonsai smash their pots due to being thrown by the wind, so everything is under cover right now. When it settles down after Easter, I think it'll be a good time to transfer. Up here, in the hills, it's either raining or you can see the rain coming over the hill most of the time 😅

@Gorillagardener,18! Watch they don't grow any blue fuzz, mate :p Sun's out guns out! I've been dealing with a dick of a bay tree, that's been a dick, and doing some spring cleaning around the front - clipping and stripping. Looking proper smart now, with some new additions for the entheogenic plot :D Reckon the green will be in the dirt in a few weeks :) Had a bit of a problem with this aerogrow experiment I've been trying, tho. Never encountered nutrient burn before, as never used anything other than blood, fish and bone... All a learning experience, eh? :)

@@Teh_Saccade,cheers mate a little bit earlier than usual, but that's a good thing, as I still have 18 to plant out but not for another 2 weeks or so. The sun is out so work has gone bonkers and I still have some autos to sort out,!!!! Oh the joy of summer, hope your grow is on track

Lots of rain and sunny days ahead, dude..! :D Did you top these guys already..? Mine are kinda stuck with the 4th node since the weather has closed in and been so overcast - I am hoping that they will be big and strong enough to clip after the weekend, as I'd like to put them in the ground and forget about them, to concentrate on the autos under the lights. Weeding duty and pest patrol only after that :)

@@Teh_Saccade,I'm not certain on the culture I'll use this year, it's my first time growing these outside, I usually have grown seeds I've been carefully selecting to grow outside in our climate, unfortunately I've lost the strain....... Duh, I will say that these plants seem to be growing faster than my own seeds, so i think I'll experiment with topping some and slowly bending some until the main stem is almost horizontal to the ground, this takes away the auxins from the main tip and allows all the branches to think they are main stems, but you do need a lot of room for that method

@KingSalomonsWeed,not too cold, personally I think the seed stock is old, I did complain about it as I didn't even get 50%Germination and they replaced the seeds so good on them for that, so far the new sown seeds have started to emerge, its only been 3 days since I sowed them so hoping for better results this time

It's cray to think it has been 10 weeks already, man..! The plants in my garden are starting to develop a bit, too - I think they're a few weeks behind your guys tho. What's interesting, is I have one under lights inside, that is a little more developed (another 2 nodes, much shorter and bushier - stunted now I've been bonsai'ing it), but the plants I have to my mate, under his 600w HPS..! Holy mother of 420 they have grow a tonne..! Some of them are flowering, even, which I find concerning - but he is adamant that he didn't forget to turn the lights on, and has been keeping it over 12 hours (even though he thought 1730-0930 was 18 hours, when it is 16, and they were off when I went over at 1930 last night hahaha). I think he's 70 soon, and he's starting get a bit confused - says it's not because he's stoned all the time, and some syndrome his mate told him about - but i'm pretty sure it's because he smoke an oz of weed every week :D There was one that was super tall - about 110cm compared to the 40-70 of other others (I mainlined and topped some, to show him how to do it and the difference in how they grow) - but..! This one didn't turn out to be a male! It's that I mixed up a seed and he is the proud owner of one of the original Indonesian plants! :D I hope it does turn out to be male, so I can take it back off him - he wanted to give me the 3 males I found, but I told him to bake them and make a pot of tea with them instead, as I was feeling generous :P I'm with you on the tall plants being male thing, and tbh it's not such a bad thing to get a male to take back and fertilise a plant or clone, but I hope you don't get too many! Plants out in teh wild have a really special quality to them - and even moreso when they are outstanding from their surroundings because of a little patch of dug and weeded earth, nice and dark, and sticking out as "ohh I've not seen one like this before" they're dope :D

@Gorillagardener,tell me about it my dude - one of my plants is perforated! Not the ones right next to it - only the big one, and even in the new growth that's come since I noticed it. I've checked under the leaves, washed them off, brushed them, swore at them - must be something like that... I don't think it's gonna kill the plant, but it'd be nice if it looked nice now they are starting to get a bit bigger :)

@@Teh_Saccade,I forgot to mention eaten leaves at this time of year outside is more than likely amoth caterpillar usually they're not much bigger than 4or 5 mm so tricky to spot

@Gorillagardener, I was given them by a guy in a place called Candi, which is a way north of Jogjakarta and Mt Merapi in Java. I lived there for a while when I was with a girl who was from there. Actually, she had never left that area her whole life... They were pretty damn tall plants as well, but these ones most definitely flowered in great long thin strings and looked a bit like grass seeds on the stem. The tall plant my buddy has is now 150 cm tall pretty much. It is not good..! The tip is wilted and burnt where he never raises the lights, since he's growing in his bathroom boiler cupboard instead of using the grow tent he bought... I've noticed that the ones in my garden have gotten eaten by something - one of them anyway. It's perforated the top leaves, but I can't see anything about it... One of teh ones by the mint has gotten cuckoo spit, but that's no worries. I love plants and I spend more time with them than people - certainly talk more to them than people. In fact - some weeks I don't think I talk to anyone but myself and the plants! :P

Fantastic grow going there, amazing to see them so tiny and now look at them! Did you get away without any wire fence protection? I've grown a few in pots outdoors, first time growing and they've done well, also have another direct in ground and although she had a seriously rough start she's doing amazing now and seems that with her feet in a natural environment actually prefers it, makes sense really.

@@HigherTimes,cheers mate things haven't gone exactly to plan, not as id expected, but this is the first time I've grown these mutant hybrid weed plants outside, so it's all experimental, my aim this year was to get some seeds out of it so I can start breeding my own mould resistant plants again, no support has been necessary yet, these plants are always better planted in the ground, the yield is much bigger

🤩👍 So far so wonderful! I doubt some strain can resist mold 100% if mold is already settled and growing actively in a spot you planted.... And it did rain a lot end of july! so i am super surprised to see how beautiful and resistant your plants are to our Welsh cold and humid nights! You should see my tomatoes 😁 they are struggling!

@Eauderay,yeah I forgot about the 2 days of mist they had last week, its been a weird year for fungus mildew and mould, I've had plants in work getting fungus and mildew that don't usually get these diseases, what's more is that I can't control them using aliette (hard core fungicide), maybe this is what we have to look forward to in our warming world

@Eauderay,I've grown weed outdoors in Wales for decades with very little problems, this is the first year I've grown these plamts so I'm not really sure what to expect from them, last year I grew autos outside with very little research, some of them coped with the weather ok others not so good, check.out the sensi seed bank site, you can select varieties bred to grow outside in Northern Europe so they should be able to cope with the humidity and rain, good luck.
