Glass of water on 3/2 Paper towel 3/3 to 3/5 until the taproots were at least half inch. Purple and green were one inch. But red had barely broke open. Directly in substrate 3/5 PM 4 out of 5 sprouted already! And red should be right behind. In this diary I will refer to colors based on which stone is in the pot so I don't get confused. Premixed 1 gallon of distilled water with nutes and didnt even need any pH up or down. Day 1- 3/6/22 PPMS 200, pH 5.9, air temp 74°, RH 61%

Well the red one never sprouted so I took it out. And one started with yellow first leaves. So 3 out of 4 look good while one is yellow. If it doesnt sprout new green leaves I will toss it too.

3/16 - They are loving this new light. It is so bright I need sunglasses. Its a viparspectra P1500. Had a cheap Amazon blurple light last go and only got .46 oz out of 2 plants. Hoping to increase yield this time. Plus these are Autos and Im using coco coir with clay pebbles instead of hydroponics. So far, it is easy and they are all growing good. The yellow one is growing right now too! 3/17 They doubled in size overnight. The funky one (green) is growing fast and strong. And turning to the normal shade of green I want to see. Had to use filtered tap water that was boiled 10 min for this feed. PPMs came in at 456 this week, pH 6.3 and my new light is so strong that my temps are in the upper 80s and low 70s at night. I added an extra fan to help and a small bucket of water in tent for extra humidity. The humdity was down in the upper 30s and is now around the low 50s. But cant complain with 1256 for light power compared to my old one at 480. This thing is a beast. 3/19 Everything is going good. Temps still high around 80° pH is 6.3 and humidity is in the 40s.

Day 21 3/23 Had to raise the light a few extra inches. The leaves were starting to curl and were getting a little light damage. pH 6.2, temp 83°, water temp was 69°, humidity is around 50%. Buying an evaporative cooler to help lower temps until we turn the AC on for the year. Still getting snow and extremely cold temps at night. Made fresh nute water for this week with an extra ml of each and took away the rapid start. Roots are coming out of the sides of the inner pot now and starting to drink from the bottom like my hydro setup. I will now fill the bottom pot instead of top feeding.

3/30 They are growing like crazy now almost 4 inches 4/1 Starting to get first pistills and grew another inch overnight 4/2 They all look wonderful and the smell is amazing already. Such a big difference from my last grow. 4/4 Two plants have a few brown spots and brownish yellow tips. Gave them new nute water with higher amounts of grow and bloom. Smelling amazing. I can't believe at the end of week 4 and they're already blooming.

I defoliated a few bottom fan leaves off each plant that were blocking the bottom growth. I am watering them twice a day manually. I am a unique grower I guess because I wanted my grows to be different. I used coco with clay pebbles and the self watering planters to use to catch run off and to have easier water changes and mobility. I keep around 2 inches of water in the bottoms for the rapidly growing roots. Next time I will use bigger pots. 6 inch pots are doing well but I will get bigger ones for my next batch. These are very easy growers and my set up works great for me. I love all the nutes I use and the hydroguard works great with this setup too because the roots are hanging out of the bottom so it keeps them happy and healthy. Update 4/8- Um tent is too small for these beautiful dwarfs. Ordered new tent. Taking turns with the one outside the tent and my whole closet smells amazing. Almost made a mistake and let the coco get pretty dry. Hopefully no issues will arrive.

Holy cow these babies are beautiful. I am in love with autos now. I love that they stay short and grow so quickly. The pH evened back out after lowering the pH in the nute water. They will be done just in time to chop before moving back into our house. The house fire truly hurt my last grow. I'm so happy these have had a stress free grow.

Got my new tent and ventilation set up! 36x20x53. Now they have plenty of room and no more defoliation. Time to see what these babies can do. pH is staying around 6.5 runoff and I'm using pH 5.5 going in. My ppms each jug of nute water are around 950 and coming out in the 550s so they are using a lot of nutes. I feed twice a day and change the water each time. For 4 plants I use 1 gallon a day. These Royal Dwarfs are awesome. They stay so small, well might have to do with my pot size too. My pots are only 6 inch. The roots are coming to the surface now. I am using self watering pots with the area below for water. My roots have almost filled the whole area underneath. I add 2" of water under and top feed twice daily... It's a lot of work but they are beautiful. Oh and it's 4/20! 4/23 Noticing burnt spots. Still feeding twice a day. Might be from light burn or something else. Will keep a close watch.

Wow these girls have fatten up nicely over the last week. I am giving them at least 10 more days. They have some golden hairs and they are starting to get milky. I can't wait to try this strain out. 4/28 they each have grown an inch in a day and a half. Lightly defoliated a few large fan leaves to get light to the smaller buds underneath. This grow has been so easy. They have loved the coco and clay 50/50 mix and my nutes. I haven't increased anything in a few weeks. They have only had a few spots that may have been sun burns from a few light leaks that I noticed and covered with black crayon to fill the spaces, mainly around the zipper seam. Next grow I will increase from 6" pots to 8" self watering pots. They work like hydroponic without the bubbles. Watering twice daily keeps the buildup flushed out and with fresh nute water in the bottom of the pots, I have huge root balls under the inner pot. One or two weeks to go. Pink seems like she will be done first, followed by blue and purple. Green is huge so far but hasn't started to turn golden at all. 5/1 Had a friend stop by who actually works at a grow center and she told me that my babies were ripe and ready to pick. I'm not sure how everyone does it but she told me to pluck as many leaves as I could get to before turning the light off for 24 hours and then chop. She also said to hang the whole plant since they are small autos so I didn't harm the buds in the trimming and drying process. She said once they are dry to trim the remaining leaves for butter and oil for edibles then collect the buds from the stems. Pics will be added tomorrow of the drying setup. Last grow until September because we will be traveling for summer!!
