@Bstoner, Thanks for the question. The goal in all bending techniques is common (Lst-scrog etc). We should spread the leaves of the plant as much as we can in order to make the light cover the whole surface (streching approx. 25-40 cms). Those techniques are all for indoor caretakers. Since the sunlight can travel 150000000km, it can diffuse a few cms below, too.That means you are right on your observation.

@im_ok, One question here though, when you start your lst process, in the beginning you're pulling down your main cola so it's at the same height as the other branches which should result in an evenly distribution of your auxins ( because the plant thinks it's main cola is gone ) which should result in an evenly grow of all your branches including your main cola. Am i about right with this theory here you think ?
