Paper towel germination went great. I soaked the whole pots with 2L of 6,5pH water and a little bit of voodoo juice yesterday to get the moisturization started before planting so I don't have to water this week, plus it keeps humidity higher for seedlings.
LED lights set to 70% and humidifier on for the rest of the week (aiming for 25°C and 60-70RH in seedling stage).
We'll see how they're doing in a couple of days.
Going nice and slow, climate control is optimal. I watered few days after they sprouted but I'm not sure if it is overwatering. We'll see how they're doing in the next couple of days.
I'll leave the dates of the waterings and the amounts I give below each week 👇
15/03: 800mL at 6,3pH
Fast week with explosive growth (LEDs at 100%), especially for the SB #2, slower however for SB #1. Both GC growing faster than the last one so I'm happy. Going to LST the SB #2 soon followed by the others when they reach acceptable height/width.
Water (per plant)
20/03: 100mL at 6,3pH (no nutes)
21/03: 400mL at 6,3pH
22/03: 500mL at 6,6pH
25/03: 750mL at 6,5pH
I started to LST my SB#2 at the beginning of the week since she was bigger than the others but she did not take it well so I untied her the next day. Now she recovered nicely so I tied her again along with GC#1&2. SB#1 is a bit late so I'll wait to start LST on this one. No signs of any kind of problem so I'm quite happy about this grow.
Watering schedule:
28/03: 1L at 6,4pH (with last week's nutes)
30/03: 1,5L at 6,7pH
Everything is going smoothly, they are growing really fast and I am now struggling with LST so I will stop it when they flower. I accidentally broke the main stem of GC#2 few days ago but she is already recovering.
I watered with 2,5L for each today and there's still no runoff so idk if I should give them more next time because I'm afraid of salt built-up if some water don't come out of the pot. I will probably flush them with plain water at some point anyway just to be sure.
Watering for this week
04/04: 2L at 6,4pH (with last week's nutes)
07/04: 2L at 6,3pH
Not much this week, the room is getting crowded so I did some defoliation today better for air circulation
Watering this week:
09/04: 2,5L per plant at 6,5pH
(with last week's nutes)
11/04: 3L to SB#2 at 6,3pH
(with last week's nutes)
12/04: 4,5L to GC#1, 4,5L to GC#2 & 4L to SB#1 at 6,4pH
(with last week's nutes)
14/04: 4,5L to SB#2 at 6pH
16/04: 4,5L to GC#1 at 6,5pH, 4,5L to SB#1 at 6,3pH, 5L to GC#2 at 6,3pH
Continuing to defoliate, not very much though I don't want to put to much stress on them. They're drinking a lot of water, almost 5L each and the runoff isn't too saturated so that's good.
Watering for this week :
17/04: 5L to SB#2
20/04: 4,75L to GC#1 at 6,3pH,
4,5L to GC#2 at 6,2pH,
4,5L to SB#1 at 6,2pH,
4,5L to SB#2 at 6,1pH
Last week of defoliation, I won't stress them any longer. My LED lights fell off early this week, there's a lot of damage on my GC#2 (two gig branches ripped off and I cut the burned flowers and small branches), but moderate on the others (only broken small branches) except on my SB#2 which was left undamaged.
So I think the SB#2 is going to finish way early than the others because she is already covered in trichomes and the smell is stronger.
Great week, all the plant recovered from the light falling incident and buds are fattening especially on SB#2 (pistils are turning brown). Lots of very small buds inside the foliage though.
Watering for this week:
30/04: 4,5L to SB#2 at 6,3pH
01/05: 4L to GC#1 at 6,5pH, 4L to GC#2 at 6,5pH, 4L to SB#1 at 6,4pH
03/05: 4,5L to SB#2
04/05: 4L to GC#1, 4L to GC#2, 4L to SB#1
06/05: 4,5L to SB#2 at 6,4pH
Temperature and humidity are rising fast because of the high temperature outside which cause the top bud of my GC#2 to rot in the end of the week so I snapped the contaminated parts.
I took a look at the tricomes and SB#2 is the closest to harvest with 30-50% cloudy tricomes (buds are very frosty). She has really bigger, denser and more resinous buds than the others and by far so I'm eager to taste it.
SB#1 & GC#1 tricomes are only starting to turn cloudy and GC#2 ones are latest to mature (not surprised since she took a lot of punches these past few weeks).
Watering for this week:
09/05: 5L to GC#1 at 6,6pH,5L to GC#2 at 6,6pH, 4,5L to SB#1 at 6,7pH
10/05: 4,5L to SB#2 at 6,7pH
12/05: 4L to GC#1 at 6,5pH, 3,5L to GC#2 at 6,5pH
13/05: 4L to SB#1 at 6,7pH, 4,5L to SB#2 at 6,7pH
