3/19-Planted 2 Wedding Cake x Banana Butter Cups (FEMS) F1 by Square One Genetics(www.square1genetics.com) directly into soil. Watered small amount at seed site. Covering with 1 gallon Ziploc bags with the zippers to keep them fully closed, while helping increase humidity levels needed.

This week was pretty basic as far as early veg. Both plants look healthy and seem to be growing at a good rate. I noticed the plant 1 has much tighter nodal spacing than plant 2. Which would u prefer P1 or P2? Transplanted them into 2 gallon plastic pots with living soil, worm castings, Dr. Earths all purpose fert and sprinkled root zone with mycro. Roots werent root bounds but had definately reached the outside of previous pots.
A few days after transplant and they already were showing new growth. Very little shock if any. The twisted leaves on both plants seems to have only been on the few leaves and hasnt continued. Trimmed up P1 on Day 26 and P2 on day 27 to expose bottom leaves. 1 day later and the growth has started to take off. So far im thinking that P1 might be the plant to set the bar but we will see. I noticed today that the roots are already starting to poke out of the holes of there new homes after 1 week. Probably should have went bigger. Looks like they will have to get transplanted sooner then later.
Plant 1 is growin like a champ. 2 is doing very well also but theres quite a bit of difference. Plants are looking good. Noticed a lot of roots already coming out of pots so i had to transplant into their forever homes. Officiallly ran out of real estate but i will do my best to make it work haha
Plants are 2 days in their new homes. So far havent noticed much shock. Slights dropping but as of this morning looking good. Havent watered yet since there new homes had quite a bit left in them even after letting them drain for 24+ hrs. Not sure how much i want to LST #1 the topping from last week made it fill out pretty good. Maybe top plant 1 and do more LST with Plant 2 as she needs more work.
Could there be to many bud sights? Should i try to thin it out or no? Plant is on day 18 of 12/12. Large and in charge, hungry and healthy. Planned on a light leaf strip after stretch but want to know if i should snip some budsights as well. Trellis is ready if needed. Thanks
Not to snip, just clean those down under bud sites like defoliate them, to let energy goes up trough, into those main bud sites that you nicely create with technique.
Hey Midwest_X_Mayhem,
I think it looks fine as is, but you might can get rid of some leafs beneeth your plant that are in the shadow anyways.
What you can do is bend the higher cola's to make sure everything grows equaly.
Goodluck growing :)
Humidity struck here outside so mainly just battling that and thats about it. The stretch seems to be under control and not going to be an issue with light hieght but could change. Cruise control pretty much
Has anyone experienced colouration like this on the underside of the leaves? Im assuming its genetics since both plants seem healthy and the other has 0 coloration on the underside of any leaves.
Never the underside, I have seen both sides do that with low temperature or phosphorus deficiency. But the leaves look healthy so I would agree with it being genetics
