Potting up I moved them into coco soil. I'm using an electric oil radiator to keep the temperature up, it's going to be too big soon so will need to look into a smaller heater if British summertime doesn't heat my north facing room enough.
I swapped the oil radiator for a heat fan and also added a humidifier. Lots of learning about the best places to put these has been experienced! The radiator was drying out the White Widow in 12-18 hours; it's looking in good shape but a few too many brown specks. Probably going to be doing some pruning and LST next week, once I've decided which route to take!
A real learning curve this week (ego talk for I messed things up!) I was too firm with the LST, caused a couple of splits and had to trim more severely than I hoped. The WW was twice the size of the others so I tried to trim it accordingly. Also, I completely overwatered the healthiest looking Kryptonite, it's looking sad and overwhelmed but after 3 days at a southfacing window she's drying out. Lots to learn!
White Widow got some burnt tips, must have overfed her. This week I just gave her water without any nutrients, she's looking both thirsty and overfed! The Purple Alsakan is looking pretty good. Kryptonite 1 is recovering from a huge overwatering and also being knocked upside down of a window sill and Kryptonite 2 is staying short and fat.
This week was the first time I've opened my tent in the morning and been impressed. Despite my noobie level watering and clumsiness with the fan, the plants are healthy!
All coming along nicely now. Looking through the site I'm seeing much bigger yields than I have (touch wood). So far, I'm putting it down to bot watering enough in veg, overwatering and a bad hack job for LST. Still, live and learn, there will be enough to go round for sure :)
I'm happy with the quality of bud but the yield is a fail. The next lot will benefit from my experience gained! I installed an RODI unit so they've been getting flushed with nice water, The plants still lack greenness but since the addition of RO water they have been getting a bit green again. Hopefully the buds are improving too!
