Hey peeps and welcome to another diary with me. This time we are growing the lovely mimosa automatic by royal queen seeds as part of their competition hosted on here. I love the rqs seedbank catalogue and have gotten excellent results from their seeds and products. She will be grown in a 15l geotextile pot under a mars hydro tsw2000 in a mix of soil, coco and perlite using the rqs nutrition range and soil plugs.
Update: after 24hrs the seed has cracked and showing tail so she will go into her soil plug and straight into the final pot.
Further update: she is above ground now so will be starting her 1st week next week.
28/03-01/04: hey peeps welcome to my first week with the mimosa automatic. She is growing at a nice steady rate and gave her some water with the micronutrients mixed in. Temps 25c r.h.55
04/04-08/04: hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the mimosa automatic. She's coming along nicely with her growth and gave her some more water mixed with micronutrients. Temps 25c r.h.55
25/04-29/04: hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the lady mimosa. First I need to apologise to you guys for a couple weeks missed, I have had some health issues and wasn't able to tend to my plants or take photos. I would say she's in her 2nd week of flower (5th overall) and as you can see she has some lovely thick branching but not too overly tall atm she's concentrating on her flowering sites. Temps 26c r.h.50
2/05-6/05: hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the mimosa, she has been doing her stretch this week along with some more bud formation. Chugging along nicely. Temps 26c r.h.50
09/05-13/05: hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the mimosa. She has grown quite leggy and seems to have finished her stretch and is now concentrating her development on the bud sites. She has a lemony orange smell to her. Temps 26c r.h.55
23/05-27/05: Hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the mimosa automatic. She's onto her ninth week of flower and she smells delightful. On plain water now till harvest. Temps 27c r.h.45
Hey peeps and welcome to another week with me and the mimosa automatic. She's on her final week of flower now and been on just water since last but she doesn't look quite ready yet so we shall see. Temps 26c r.h.40
06/06-10/06: hey peeps welcome to another week with me and the mimosa. She's taking a bit longer than expected but she just wasn't ready, and I'd rather she was ready then not so this week should be her last one before harvest. Temps 27c r.h.45
This fruity little number is very refreshing and a well balanced strain that compliments both parents. Fruity punch taste with tastes of orange that linger on the palette. Would definitely grow again.
This strain grew to a nice height with good structure and was pest and disease free. Nice swollen buds and grew to a nice height. Would grow again. I would also love to thank royal queen seeds for allowing me the opportunity to grow your wonderful genetics and products
@JiggleBudz, thank you and all the best too you on your 1st grow. Their genetics are solid so you won't be disappointed by them. Enjoy your adventure 🌱💚
