XperencdGmanXG Got this slammed cut from a buddy that needed some space. It's been in a clone shipper for 3 days now. So I thought I'd revive her with a quick acting jump juice mix of my own creation. Gonna stick her in the veg room in the corner in the next couple of days, until I have time to make room for her. This pheno is supposed to smell like a Christmas tree. Let's hope

XperencdGmanXG Plant looking way better than it did after being in a clone shipper for 3 days. repotted and pre amended the Jobe's All purpose for 8 weeks. The GH is there to cover the plant until the the all purpose starts to break down in about a week. The blood and bone meal will not be available for at least 2 weeks as they are long term food for the soil microbes.

XperencdGmanXG This one is turning into a monster quickly. Need to clone it to keep lineage. I seem to have a spider mite issue forming. I've ordered predatory mites to fight them off. Fingers crossed I get rid of them.

XperencdGmanXG left the girls to settle into their new environment. Have been watering every 4 days or so, not much rain this week. Plants are looking good and showing some signs of leaf growth which means the roots have already branched out. Chitosal as a root drench is supposed to help with drought tolerance and salt stress, no salt stress here as we are organic. Next week things to do: 1) spread and re-stake plants. 2) create a top amendment feeding and watering bowl under each plant with some chicken wire.

XperencdGmanXG did some LST to this girl. We were in the middle of a mini drought but we did get 6mm of rain yesterday. So that will help with growth a lot. I also watered them with a whopping 9 gal each day before the rain. So I am expecting some excellent growth over the coming week. Ive been looking for an inexpensive source of granulated humic and fulvic acids if anyone knows of a source in southern Ontario.

XperencdGmanXG Well I can tell you that these girls have sent a tap root right down into the water table and can feed as they want. They are starting to hulk out i just wish we could get some more steady rainfall it would help with the growth. Gave her a foliar spray of marinis liquid seaweed and armour si. Will continue with the foliar sprays of armour si weekly until flower. Ater that I will switch to watering the armour si in. Silica is so important for great cannabis.
XperencdGmanXG So I decided to do bi weekly foliar sprays with the Liquid seaweed on top of the weekly Silica foliar sprays. I can say that I am seeing amazing results the plants are growing from every which way and getting nice and lush. Just pray for some rain!

Will add some bloom amendments next week, although they got some bone meal not too long ago. Did another foliar spray as next week may be the last time I will be able to deliver nutrients in that manner. NEVER foliar spray buds! Unless you want to get bud rot.

XperencdGmanXG sorry for the late update the farm dog went missing a couple of days b4 my weekly visit to the pot patch. I spent the entire week looking for her. We did eventually find her exactly 1 week after she went missing. plants are doing well. 3rd week into bloom did a bit of house keeping on the interior of the plant. no big defoliations though I dont believe in that on outdoor plants. not a hint of PM and very very strong branches now thanks to all the foliar sprays with Silica.

XperencdGmanXG coming along nicely, this one did not like the low temps. I found 1 bud with some rot on it, cut that out. NO PWM thanks to the foliar sprays of Si. Buds did not grow much from last week to this one due to cold temps. This is an indoor strain here or its going to need to be crossed with something that likes the cooler fall temps.

XperencdGmanXG just putting on weight, very cool nights and days in the teens are making these girls bulk up quickly regardless of sun or overcast. Had some more frost without any effect. Girls should be fine; this one should be done by next week. Let's hope. went down to -4c but cannot put that in above, must be a bug.
This one really does not do well outdoors in southern Ontario because it does not like cold weather. It immediately stopped growing and was very sensitive to temperatures like Sativa's are. It almost didn't finish on time. Thing went purple almost black with the first single digit night. This pheno has a nice, dank skunk RKS Ish stench. Does not like to be bent will snap just looking at it. Also does not like to be cloned either.

XperencdGmanXG point on this variety. 1) Does not like to be cloned. 2)Does not like to be LST. This one will snap if you even look at them wrong. I strongly suggest weekly foliar sprays of Si to help with pliability. 3)Sensitive to cold here dicey as to if it will finish on time. This year weather co operated, that is usually not the case. I wouldn't grow this one outdoors again.
I grew some Ya Hemi from Grandiflora. I only popped ONE seed from the pack...I grew mine outdoors and it was decent . I think it could have been better if grown indoors.
Awesome. I’m near Edmonton (53N) where you pretty much have to force flower any photoperiods. One plant this year got too big for me to cover (Bubble OG manifold) but I noticed in Ed Rosenthal’s Grower’s Handbook a paragraph about using a far red light at dusk. Sometimes called phyto-deprivation, the 730 nm light for a few seconds at dusk essentially causes the plant to shift to dark mode two hours faster than normal. So an actual 9 hours of dark is worth 11 hours which means the plant starts flowering sooner and under stronger light. Nice trick, and has been described as making it a 26 h day during flowering. My light arrived just in time, and I’ve doing it for about 4 nights now and it does seem to help. If I can get my biggest plant flowering a month earlier then the light “pays for itself”.
@XperencdGmanXG, don’t know how to paste link on phone in Growdiaries but is from a company in Seattle.
Forevergreenindoors.com
4 foot long 730 nm LED supplemental light.
Other companies make similar lights but were out of stock. A flashlight type would likely be better (AgroLight I think it was) but this 4 foot bar is in stock, lightweight, and durable enough. I’m liking it. 👍
@Northern_Ent,sweet nice to know a technique works. Gas lantern works as well I use it in veg all the time saves me 11 hours of hydro a day. with better than 18/6 results. What light did you end up buying? Got a link?
Very nice fellow gangsta man hehe 😜 that’s what my G stands for . I like you plant size - come check out my outdoor garden too bro, can’t wait to see the next weeks of your grow ! Glad you found your pooch too
