Viparspectra - 4 breeders, 4 strains

Hello and welcome to u all.. Hope u are well and having a good week so far.. 😁👍 I decided to go with RQS' Organic nutrition to try and make life a bit simpler for a couple of months.. Ive used it before and it gave very nice quality buds.. I will use a few boosters when it comes to flowering but only using very small amount of GreenBuzz Liquid additives.. Running the Xs4000 from Viparspectra @50% power until 2nd set of leaves come through then I'll bring the power up 10-20% and raise the lamp a few inches also.. Always enjoy watching them grow up from a tiny shoot, into small plants then into bloom.. I used to run auto's in this tent but i decided to give all my attention to fems now as i have a back log of both varieties and will have a go at running a few stealthy autos on the balcony this year..- Back to these 4!, they only been getting around 100ml of water each day around the stem and today they've had about 300ml around the outside edge of the pots to make roots spread out now there establishing.. Will give them a dose of GBL "Living Organics" this week to keep soil organisms active.. Also raised led up abit and turned power upto 75%..😁👍 Side note :- My pal got busted last week in middle of the day.. We figured out it must of been a old/faulty carbon filter as their's no way of snitches(only i knew they grew) and was hidden away very well.. He didn't change the filter for about 3years when he looked at his receipts, they grow for personal use and its not a commercial set up so they should get just a slap on wrist for being naughty.. - just a reminder to us all that they're still on the look out in UK atm and use any opportunity for a nick.. Ive had multiple street caution and fuzz have ripped door off minimum 3 times on me so I'm kinda used to the process now.. All 4 strains have jumped up this week since switching the light to 12/12hrs and nicely filled out the tents area.. Still have a around 12inch of space to raise led if i need to as the girls grow a bit more each week until the preflowering stretch slows down and they reach final(ish) heights.. Only been giving them plain pH water this week but will give them all a dose of GBL's plant aids this week which will include - Fast buds, Humic Acid Plus, Growzyme and Big Fruits.. The plants wont need any base feeding or heavy pk fertilisers as i already potted up at start of grow with RQS's Easy Boost Organic Nutrition which can easily grow beautiful plants from start to finish with just pH'd water.. Pistils popping out on all strains and the Cookies Gelato from Royal Queen Seeds has already started to show a thin layer of trichomes beginning to develop!.. Some great variety going on in the tent and a beautiful mix of aromas and colours already!.. We're just at the half way mark through the bloom phase now and everything seems to be growing well.. They could probably do with a dose of calmag but im waiting for the bottle to arrive in post in next few days and apply asap.. Apart from that im very happy and pleased with all the strains so far and as i said im really enjoying the watching different varieties progress.. I will have to rethink this grow area as the led is pretty strong and I underestimated the stretch potential on different strains/genetics.. I have also made the mistake of trying to push the plants and soil to the max and i think i have overdone with the additional plant/soil aids.. It looked like i was getting cal/mag deficiency but what i think is happening is after adding the soil aids this has probably helped break down the organic granules a but faster than they would have, maybe? 🤔🤣.. I know from previous experience that both products are excellent quality and very reliable from start to finish.. I had tge brainwave to try and mix the 2 but obviously isnt working as planned.. I have decided to use just plain pH adjusted water from now on🤞.. Not a perfect grow from my own faults but im still really happy with how the new strains have formed.. All girls have been given plenty of plain pH adjusted water and are in their final few weeks of growth.. I have already placed a clone from the Cookies Gelato into a 40L Hydro NFT system and placed a clone of the Reefreshers & Biscotti into 20L fabric pots with living soil from Ecothrive.. I plan to either run the Reefreshers or Floss Sugar in hydroponics after the Watermelon Zkittles is finished in few weeks time.. Im aways trying to stay a few steps ahead of grows and plan for the weeks jobs and the run up plans to follow each harvest.. On the next run in this tent i have already chosen 4 new strains from 4 top class breeders and looking forward to trying a new line up of genetics again, but will start writing separate diaries for each strain as i think it will be better for each strain represented plus it will make it easier to document if any differences eg, - different feeds, mediums used, any weekly adjustments to individual strains , etc.. 🤞😁 Huge thanks to u all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Hope u are well and having a good day.. 👍😁 Excellent week for the 4 strains under the Viparspectra XS2000..i have now removed the Cookies Gelato & Reefereshers, leaving the Floss Sugar & Biscotti 2.0 to continue for another week in flower.. The 2 out are now hang drying and will get dry trimmed when ready in about 7-10 days.. The 2 remaining will continue to get pH'd water every 2-3days and i might even drop the power of the led to 30% and see if it helps finish them off(?)..👍😁 I have received alot of seeds from alot of breeders lately so i will be busy running 12 strains at a time, back2back for the rest of the year.. 4 new strains in this smaller tent, then I'll be using the Viparspectra Xs4000 tent to grow another 8 different strains.. Really pleased to have been able to get these testers from ALL the breeders and i will be writing individual diaries for each strain so each plant will be getting around 60W of light but will using slightly different mediums/feeding programs on different plants.. It will either be living soil, organic granules from RQS as i want to be able to concentrate with feeding on my hydroponics setups and keep all my test strains in soil and just add pH'd water to make life simple.. Its not about yeilds from any if my testers as i can manipulate and maximise that in hydro.. Its more of a trichome productivity test, while, also searching for terpines and watching/learning how she grows.. I have received some brand new and beautiful looking genetics from every breeding seed bank so i am extremely grateful and really looking forward to seeing what turns out super-duper and choose potential strains for hydro.. 👍😁 Huge thanks to u all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Reports for each strain will come in few weeks as they have now joined the other 2 strains hang drying atm..
