Day 29 - Temps and humidity in check. Watering her after this post (prob quarter gallon of PHed water) - going to test my automatic water drip system thing I got to water plants while im on vacation. There are multiple tops and the original top is no longer the main top since one of the branches caught up so my LSTing must be working. I will LST a bit more tonight.
Day 30 - Temp 82, Humidity 55%, Watered yesterday w/ half gallon of PHed water. LSTed a bit more last night and again this morning.
The newest leaves have 9 fingers, bottom growth is good, have not taken off any dead/yellow/wonky leaves in a couple of days now.
See a couple of rusty/brown spots but that does not appear to be happening on any new leaves.
I also read something about a foliar spray the other day so I decided to give my plant an epsom salt spray about 2-3 days ago which I think I forgot to mention in this journal.
Day 32 - Temp 83, Humidity 50. Hairs growing in every where. Watered her last night w/ half gallon 100% Grow big with the automatic drip system - I think it will work while on vacation. Lights will be off while on vacation so I imagine I will get a small yield
Still looking healthy.
Day 33 - Temp 83, Humidity 50% prior to watering, Watered just now w/ just short of a half of gallon. 50% Big Bloom, 100% Grow Big minus 1ml, and I also started flowering nutes today - 25% Tiger Bloom, 1/4t/G of FF Open Sesame.
Day 34 - Temp 83 Humidity 45% Starting to see a lot of hairs all over the place and I see 2 new tops forming. The new growth on the main stem is starting to get really tiny new main fan leaves. Still pretty long leaves but super narrow. I also lowered the light by an inch last night.
They're beautiful! I'm also following as I'm a couple of weeks behind you with my NL auto. I'm also using fox farm nutes.
I wonder if your higher starting wattage is allowing your girls to grow a bit bigger in the second week. I have my QB 260 set up but haven't turned them on yet, just using my QB 100 right now - afraid of the heat issue... guess I should turn it on and see. I guess I should start the LST-ing in the next couple of days too. One last thing - are you going to try stem splitting? I wonder if anyone has tried that with autos.
Good Luck and wishing you an abundant final harvest!
Your girl is looking nice. Sounds like a lot of water for such a small grow bag. I was giving my NL girl a quart every other night when I flipped her into flowering and she was in a 7 gal grow bag.
Good luck with your grow!
