When I started the seeds I popped the beans in a peat pellet. As soon as the route started reaching down i went ahead and pulled the Pete pellet apart and transferred the seed and it’s starting root Straight into the 3 gal. I experimented with this technique to see if it would save me a couple days of time. It works like the paper towel method only faster by two days and the napkin doesn’t stick and transfer to the seed. It also prevents sprouting without a j hook in case the seed was upside down or sideways. I learned that plants tend to grow bushier bigger stems if it’s able to grow down and out and not a complete circle before it straightens itself out.
